    hey guys,

    its me again. just got my approval letter in the mail yesterday. wwwwwwwwwwooooooooohhhhhhhhhoooooooo!!!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

    again want to thank every body here and wish a BIG good luck for the rest of you that still waiting. it will happen to you soon dont worry!!!

    There is any good news today ?????

    Nothing so far.

    I emailed the senator of my states yesterday about my case and hopefully do something.

    Hi Angela and Hicham,

    I think if you contact them now, they will tell you to wait till it's out of 6 months time frame. So you have 3 more weeks to go. So probably in the 1st of August, you can contact your senator and talk to their Immigration Expert and they will send a info release form (or I think you can download it from their website, if they have one). Once you send it they will say they will get back to you in couple of days.

    if they don't call them again.

    I emailed them yesterday and i'm waiting now for their response .

    I emailed them early just to be ready in case I don't receive my approval in time.

    I just checked the website of my senator and i found the form . i will print it and fill it out and have it ready in case I don't receive my approval.

    We haven't heard a thing. Just waiting. Hopefully, we will hear something soon. Good luck.

    I called today 1-800 , And they said i have to wait 6 months then call them back.

    I am almost in the same situation, a lot of Feb 2009 cases were approved who applied after me. I even saw 2 cases of March '09 being approved by VSC. Don't know what's going on. I did call the mis-information line (1-800 number) and they said the same thing which online status stays, case received is processing.

    If your case falls outside six months, meaning 6 months of Received Date then contact your senator and talk to their immigration expert to do an inquiry into your case.

    Anybody filed in January and February and didn't received his approval come to join us.

    I know how you feel, we both have NOA in Febuary 2009. I almost a week behind you at VSC. A lot of folks who applied after me or got NOA after me

    got approval already. I do hope we will hear some good news in couple of week as it's not been 5 months yet. I think VSC is jumping around

    like another VJ memeber told me. So let's see.

    I checked my mailbox today, tore open the letter, and;

    "Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved. You are deemed to be a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status."

    Seems like VSC is moving along quickly now with February filers. Now to wait for the green card!

    Got the approval email today (6/24) but have not received any notice in the mail, so I'm not sure if VSC is speeding up or if ours went to a local office.

    I am very surprised, since after following this forum more I realized we could have done a much better job on the evidence we sent....

    Well, yay! Now we'll be hanging out at the mailbox and planning a trip back to Ghana much earlier than we thought we'd have to wait! Happy happy!

    Dear all,

    I received an Email from CRIS this morning stating that:

    Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

    Current Status: Card production ordered.

    On June 23, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

    Does this mean I've already had my removal of conditions approved? I only applied for removal of conditions in February - I thought it was supposed to take about a year?! :-)

    The next step - is it a year before I can apply for citizenship? Does anyone have any hints and tips or a URL with them? I looked at the process a little while ago but I'm sure it's changed since then...

    Hi Angela and Hicham,

    I know how you must be feeling folks who had similar time lines like you got approved. I think the only option for you, me and rest of us is to wait.

    If you dont get an letter then I would suggest to call the mis-information line.

    call the mis-information line 18003755283. 123 are the magic numbers to get through the maze.

    One thing i forgot to add was, the customer rep might tell you the same BS, "Your case is pending etc". Ask her/him if you can talk to an Immigration officer

    or a supervisor.
