Our Biometrics appointment is concluded today.
We we're let in at 9:40 for 10:00 AM appointment and I was out by 9:53.
Please remember to bring your passport size photos for appointment, because even though the website and appointment confirmation page states otherwise, they will ask for it. Although if you don't take it with you, it won't make any difference.
Now waiting for the Consular Interview tomorrow at 7:30 AM IST.

People who work multiple jobs receive W2 from each employer. They use generic language to include all. If you only work with one employer you only need that W2.

Yeah, not sure if you missed much as so many great folks in our community have been great in keeping their questionnaires up to date. Thank you community!!
It's nice to see the sheet turn from purple to dark green. It was purple for a while as so many were waiting for their interview dates. These March and early April filers are helping us all out. So greatly appreciate it.
Soon you and I will be getting our CC.. Hopefully by the end of this month.

As per my research on numerous cases on VJ, it takes up to 2 weeks to receive email confirmation. On an average you should expect it in 7-9 days.

May be you can pick up results when you go for biometrics appointment? That will save you a trip.

There are quite a lot of early May CC who already have interviews in June and July already. Please look at the spreadsheet compiled by @JBMG.

Going through my Medical Examination. Just waiting for vaccinations. It was very smooth. Luckily I was the first one to be addressed.
It has been an hour already. I will update once it is done. I was charged 9500 INR for this procedure. I'm not sure if I'll be charged extra for vaccinations. Updates coming up.

Just completed my medical. Took about 2 hours.

Tanish got a reaction from Ksenia_O in Does the USC spouse need to attend interview
I would like to clarify once again that I wasn't trying to imply that he was right. I was just stating what I am going to face personally in a near future. As much as I want to, I can not leave on a short notice. It's been more than 8 months since I saw my wife in person.
I'm sure you had your reasons for doing what you did. We are third party, in it we wouldn't know what you two discussed before taking that decision.
Also, judging by the way you have been treated since his arrival, it is clear what his intentions were. All I can say to you is, just try to forget about what happened. Divorce him, pull your AOS and don't contact him again. I know very well how hard it can be moving on after your spouse cheats on you (having personally faced it). Life's too short. Don't waste it on irrelevant people.

Tanish got a reaction from JBMG in NVC Scan date of March 2017 IR-1/CR-1
You should clarify that with NVC first before sending in the forms and in turn resetting wait time. There seems to be a lot of instances where requesting to talk to a supervisor continuously yields some great results and if you have infact sent those forms already, your checklist would be revoked; but if you send in your documents before talking to them, your scan date will reset. IMO, it's worth wasting a week if we are certain that we already sent everything than to wait another 11 weeks.
Just a query regarding your docs, did you send all documents in single packet or separately?

Tanish got a reaction from Auds in 2 marriages .confused
Read this.
https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/INT/HTML/INT/0-0-0-65300/0-0-0-70018.html
Different conclusions can be drawn from this, as the case is a bit different; but I see that US does not see polygamy as legal even if the country you are migrating from advocates it as legal.
So, IMO, if CO suspects you of polygamy, you are inadmissible regardless.

Tanish reacted to Jojo92122 in 2 marriages .confused
No. Since the beneficiary is the one that is the bigamist, he is not qualified. It doesn't matter if everything he did was legal in a foreign country. EVEN IF all his marriages are legal where performed, being married to two people at the same time is a bar for him to adjust status.
Your premise is wrong. In your scenario, the petitioner for spouse #1 is the polygamist. Spouse #1 has only one husband and would not be entering the US to practice polygamy. She is not a polygamist, so she can adjust.
Completely different situations.

If your CEAC case status says "Ready", that means your case has reached your designated Embassy/Consulate. I would say you are in the clear.
I would call Embassy/Consulate and confirm just to be on the safe side.
