    Depends on the other country, not the US. Canada is fine with double citizenship afaik, as are most other western countries with a few exceptions. My home country Sweden allows double citizenship as well, if it didn't I wouldn't even consider getting a US citizenship.

    I-485 = $1140
    Biometrics = $85
    I-765 = $0
    I-131 = $0

    Total = $1225

    It's rare to get anything back at POE and/or USCIS. So never ever expect to get any originals/certified copies back. Get more certified copies of birth certificates etc, they will be needed. That and the DS-3025 for the AOS.

    Justifying visa fraud.  Sickening.  I hope Trump does away with adjusting from temporary visas.

    In our AOS filers thread K-1 people were still approved just a month ago or so - without interview and case never left NBC, that's a whole year after they filed. The only way to find out where your case is at is to talk to a Tier 2 who is willing to tell you (not all of them are, sometimes you have to call and call to get someone who actually wants to help). They can see where your case is.

    You may well have to get the I-693 completed at this point.  You could try contacting the medical exam facility and see if they kept a copy or can at least forward the vaccination record.
    There are things the beneficiary must make sure they obtain and bring with them to the USA ie, DS3025, certified copy of birth certificate, etc are useful, needed documents

    Many K-1 cases never go to a field office, no point in checking the processing times until you know for sure your case is actually there. So it's not correct to say that it "completely depends" on the field office.

    But yes, if the application is actually sent to the local field office then that's one way to almost figure out how long it might take.
    As an example, we had other people in the 2016 December filers thread who had their interviews at the same field office as me - but they had their interviews in March-April and I had mine i July. Several months difference, so even the processing times vary way more than what the website shows.

    Some forget to give beneficiaries the copy of the DS3025 and then you have to ask for it.

    In addition to Scandi's comment, no you don't mark anything complete. The panel physician would have marked the DS3025 as complete  if he deemed it as complete.

    There is no specific and exact processing time for AOS.

    Some rare cases get an approval after 2 months, others wait for 2 years.
    Many wait for 6 months, even more people wait for 9 months.
    Some people get interviews, some don't.
    Some go through a fast field office, others a very slow one.
    Some get interview dates after 3 months, some wait for 10 months - despite going through the same field office.
    Some get approved on the spot at their interview, others get approved days, weeks or months after their interviews.

    There are so many factors involved, it's impossible to be specific enough regarding the processing times.

    Tell yourself it'll take around a year to get approved, be happy if it goes faster than that.

    The i-130 is not a visa, that's the form your husband has to file to petition you (i-130 is for immediate family members, which is also your only option). Once USCIS has approved the petition you're allowed to file for the CR-1 visa via the embassy in AUS. The link provided by the other poster is the guide you need to get started.

    No, absolutely not. I have no reason to bring any family members here and I have a hard time understanding those who are so attached they need to bring parents, siblings, cousins and what not. But to each his own. US is one of very few countries that allow it anyway, and the rest of the world is perfectly fine not immigrating to the countries that don't allow it.

    USCIS made an error with your card, you need to send it back and request a new one with the correct info on it. I think the form is called i-90.

    It's not your right to marry whoever you want, I bet no states allow you to marry your sibling etc. Other than that, it might be your right to marry whoever you want but immigration isn't a right. Marriage and immigration are two different things.

    I have made an address change online as well, and it didn't work for me either. I got the confirmation and all, but every single letter/package from USCIS was still sent to my old address. Even to this day, a year later, letters are still sent to my old address.
