I waited a few days & tried again, exactly same info/boxes selected & it went through! Truly unsure what happened before.

Meisha&Jake got a reaction from KSVJ in UK to US travel ban - just need to speak to fellow visajourney people who understand my feelings
I just wanted to come on the forum to vent/relate to fellow visajourney members emotionally suffering with distance/homesickness during the pandemic.

This past year & a half has been awful for everyone in multiple ways. Personally, I was due to visit my family back in the UK in April 2020 (first trip back home since I moved here in 2018). Obviously travel ban happened & it's still in place for UK to US travel. I found out I was pregnant a week after we knew our flights were cancelled. I was furloughed at my job due to the pandemic (although this turned out in my favor as I would've had to go on long term sick due to the pregnancy complications). My son is now almost 8 month's & still hasn't met his Nanna (my mum). It breaks my heart EVERY single day. We facetime multiple times a day but that doesn't make homesickness much easier. To add, I ended up having complications for the last 2 month's of my pregnancy, was in hospital twice a week for monitoring due to still born risk. I was induced at 37 weeks, baby boy is an absolute joy (minus not much sleep still lol). A month after I gave birth, I was rushed via ambulance to hospital with a suspected gallbladder problem. Turns out it was infected & was kept in for two days with antibiotic IV drip. Then I had my gallbladder removed in January 2021. I then was diagnosed with postpartum anxiety, that I feel has also been caused by homesickness/pandemic. Alot of my first pregnancy experiences has been stripped for me, I know I'm not alone in that. It's been a hellish year & a half.

My mum, sister & sister's boyfriend booked flights back in January for September 2021 to visit us for 2 weeks here in the USA. 8 weeks away & travel ban is not lifted & now seems unlikely due to the Delta variant. I can't stop crying today.

It's been one thing after another for many people.

I'm emotionally exhausted. Would love to just relate to other people feeling the same.

It will most probably be assigned to the same service center. It may not be the case all the time but 90% they are assigned based on location. But i assume it wouldn't be same number. the previous case is closed as rejected, now you should be assigned a new number.

This is a man.   Feed him and have sex every day.

Apparently my wife and I are still off the charts 13 years after marrying.  We can't figure out what's wrong with people.   Use it or lose it, lol!

unless the rejection letter says " outdated forms or some other wording that says you used incorrect forms " there is no need to print new forms.

I'm not an expert, but I'd probably resend a fresh copy. I have a print queue set up for the entire I751 filing (app + evidence) so I can basically reprint our entire case with a single click.

Did you find out why USCIS rejected your case back when you submitted it? Or did you just find out now? If USCIS told you there was a payment issue back when you submitted, I would've sent a new application ASAP, before getting the old one back.
  22. Thanks
Meisha&Jake reacted to igoyougoduke in Re-send rejected packet as it is?
no just add new payment and send  everything back. call your bank and let them know that you want them to allow USCIS to charge your card

Meisha&Jake reacted to Skyman in Question about re-submission after rejection
I would just send it back without the G-1145 and the check clipped to the front. They'll figure it out. Make it a cashier's check or make certain it doesn't bounce.
  24. Thanks
Meisha&Jake reacted to Wuozopo in Question about re-submission after rejection
I would send the whole thing back as is. They did their thing for a reason. Your thing is to pay them.

The cover letter is not important. I didn’t have one at all and still got processed efficiently. My advice is just resend your stuff and don’t worry about the small details in an unneeded cover letter.
