Hi I picked up my passport yesterday and booked my flight for tomorrow. God has worked it out so I'm going to be with my better half on our 1st anniversary, just has we wished. This was a long process but worth it. Hope u get your passport soon.

Great news!!! Best of luck to you and your better half ) my passport will be ready to pick up tomorrow but I'm not flying home to Ireland until Friday! Have to work for a few more weeks but will be flying out the end of August to be with my husband..finally!!

Did u opt to collect your passport n sealed envelope from the depot?

Yea I'm collecting mine in Belfast. I'm from Northern Ireland and I'm flying home next week so just going to pick it up there! I'm guessing they will email us when it's ready to pick up?

Hi sorry I just saw this got back from London very late. It was an amazing feeling of nerves n anxiety sat waiting on my number to be called I got there an he early which was good has my app was for 1 and I was out by 1.30. The lady asked 3 questions how did we meet, where does my husband work and live and the she said the magic word approved. All in all the people at the embassy are quite relaxed and cheerful and will put you at ease. I am sure you will be approved too.

I read this message while at the embassy and it made me feel much better! I was done by 2.30. All approved. Was just asked where we met, where has he worked and where will we live and then she said the magic words. It is such a relief. I though we received the sealed envelope today but I'm guessing they send that with the passport as I didn't receive anything today. The woman was lovely and said should receive everything within 2 weeks.

Hope you had a lovely trip. My medical is also booked for the 15th of July at the Bentinck Mansion and I got the email confirmation also, after my second phone call they got the email address wrong the first time. So check with them if they got your email right.

I sent them an email so finally received my confirmation. I guess they just kept getting my address wrong! My medical is also at Bentinck Mansions so maybe I will see you there

Hello, I got my interview letter on Monday did you get yours? I have also booked the courier yesterday and thankfully it was free has I opted to collect from the depot in Manchester.

Hey sorry I just got back from NY today so haven't been on this. I got my interview letter last week too. I haven't booked courier yet will have to look at that. My medical is 15th July but I never received a confirmation email from them. I have called a few times and provided my email addresses but still haven't received an email.

Hi LND1990 did they tell you what time yours is scheduled for I was so excited I forgot to ask about mine lol.

Haha yes they told me mine is at 1pm. I'm guessing we should receive the confirmation email this week with all the details.

I am going to try and see if I can request a sooner date has my 1st wedding anniversary is on the 1st of Aug and its a bit close, esp knowing that once we get approved we have to wait a few days to get our passports back. LBecky I just called NVC and got my interview date! It's 26th July. Hopefully yours has been scheduled too

Gm everyone, just had the email from NVC a week late telling me what I already know that I am in a queue awaiting an interview appointment. Hopefully this is a signal that soon and very soon the actual date will come too, has I am ready and waiting!!

We got the email on Monday thought it was going to be the interview date. So disappointing! Still hoping to get the date this week

I'm waiting on a date for London too. My cc was 27th may so waiting patiently. Was also told yesterday that they are still scheduling for July in London so fingers crossed we will hear something soon!

so I sent in my documents to NVC and they arrive today 5/23/2016. Does NVC really send an email saying they received everything (scan date). If so, by when do you guys think I'll receive it. Like tomorrow?

Hey, I didn't receive an email from NVC until 12th May and they received my documents on the 28th April. I have heard that people haven't gotten an email at all.

Yes I got my case number in a week too and I was able to pay both AOS and IV fee together and they took only a day to process.. I also submitted the civil documents and my scan date is April 29, 2016 so I am just waiting on the 30-42days.

My scan date is also April 29th. Seems are timelines are very similar

Ok so I just got off the phone with a NVC agent who told me even though I can't log in and that the issue was reported, she suggest I wait a day or two more before sending in a check and she also took the time to add my wife as my agent.. so I suggest that you call and choose your agent!

I just called NVC to add my agent and they told be I would have to fill the form out. They wouldn't take my details.

Called NVC again about the payment portal issue. Was told it's definitely a technical issue and they're "reviewing it" and they have no ETA.

I rang today too and was told the same!

My case was sent to NVC March 29 and NVC received ot April 4 they told me my case # April 11 and email me the welcome letters April 12 and I am still unable to pay the AOS fee. Did anyone who recently got the case number able to pay the fee?

My husband called last night and they told him it's a system error and they are working on it. They said to keep trying periodically.

As anyone been able to login and pay the AOS fee yet?
