  1. i must say congrats to you. i cant wait till we can see the same light at the end of the tunnell. GOOD LUCK

    Hello friends,

Farid and I have wonderful news.:dance::dance: Our Packet 3 arrived today for the K3 visa and they set our interview date for September 22nd. We're so excited and relieved to finally have a date for our interview. Really this step is such a well needed "breath of fresh air" for our visa process. There is a light at the end of the tunnel ...God willing only 6 more weeks until we're together. We're praying our CR1 file is "complete" soon and sent to the consulate before the 22nd so we can get the preferred immigrant visa. For now my honey is starting to prepare the items on the checklist. Early next week I will be sending him the rest of our "continued" proof for the last month since I've seen him. And we're going to freshen up on what to expect at the interview. Any suggestion are soooo greatly appreciated. Thanks so much !!!!

I wish i could do one of those tickertag thingys only 20 more days till interview!!! LOL

  2. well i dont know much about whether to buy a rt or a one way but im sure learning from you guys .....thanks

interview went great. waiting to recieve visa from the mail system. started looking at prices for airplane tickets. wow really expensive right now. My question is are there any specific requirements when buying her a ticket. I am sure it has to be a round trip ticket. However I have a friend who can get me a stand bye round trip ticket. Can i do that or does it have to be a regular ticket. If it has to be a regular round trip ticket, who checks, immigration when she lands in the states. wow i am so happy. can't wait till she has the visa in the mail.
  3. im so sorry that you are having these feelings. you have to really try to weigh the pros and cons. are you guys fighting because of the tension leading up to marriage? is it just general stuff like being in his space. what is it that doesnt make you guys happy to be together. what was the spark before? talk to one another put everything on the table. is he feeling the same way or jus you are thinnking of backing out? communication is the best key.

Hi everybody. I'm new here though I've been reading some posts in this forum. I'm glad to find a place where you can share similar life experiences. I'm from Peru and I'm getting married next week. I knew my fiance in a dating web site almost two years ago, he went to visit me to Lima a few times, we had a good time and after 8 months dating we applied for the K1 visa. I've been in the States since early May but I don't know if I'm ready to give that big step yet. As you well know the K1 visa is valid only for 90 days and there's no extension. Next week my visa will expire.

When I came here I left everything behind to start a new life with the man I dated for a year and a half. He is a good guy, and also I am, but during these months we've had a hard time getting along. I knew the adjustment wouldn't be easy because he has lived by himself for a long period of time as well as me. We are having silly arguments and each one is on the defensive all the time, which is odd because we used to get along great with each other while we were dating online. I know living together is something really different but I always thought we could do it great.

I feel unsecure about marriage, I don't know if after that we could fix our differences or maybe they get worse. Is he maybe feeling I'm threatening his freedom?

Sometimes I'd like to come back to my country, but I do also feel I love him. We did a lot to be finally together but I think we are not doing much for keeping it.

I'd appreciate your comments because an outsider can see many things I probably don't. Thanks

  4. WELL I HAPPEN TO KNOW THAT MY MOM WORKS 16 HOURS A DAY 6 DAYS A WEEK AND SHE GOES TO SCHOOL FOR 2 OF THOSE 6 DAYS.......I CALL HER SUPERMOM

    Good morning.

Looks like we talked waaay to much :P so we have a new home again :hehe: .

I hope everyone gets some relief from the heat soon. We had a little break yesterday and it looks like the next few days will be a little better.

The gas prices here are getting too outrageous  . I moved closer to the workplace but in the back of my mind I'm considering looking for a job closer to home.

Rhonda-working 7 days a week in just too much. Do your supervisors work 7 days a week too? Are you working more than 8 hours a day?

  5. SORRY TO HEAR THAT YOU GUYS HAD TO GO THRU THE FRUSTRATION BUT THE BIGGEST THING IS THAT YOU KEPT YOUR KOOL AND SURVIVED THE BATTLE. WELCOME HOME AND GOOD LUCK TO THE BOTH OF YOU.

Do you think this is the same b**ch that answers the phone and works window 14 or or there a bunch of frustrated b**ches that work there?

Sorry to here about your troubles but so glad you got thru. That's what counts in the end.

  6. HEY DID U EVER STOP TO THINK THAT HE HAD JUST FOUND IT IN THE DUMPATER.. MAYBE HE FEELS LIKE HE STRUCT GOLD..

I am currently living on the west coast in Canada (soon to be moving down to Illinois) ... Anyway here is a little story.

In the building complex that I live in, my designated outside parking spot is right beside the dumpsters. On many occasions when getting in my car there will be, for lack of a better word, "homeless people" digging in the dumpster looking for what not. I am always kind to them and usually if I have some empty pop cans or water bottles I will hand to them from my car. These "homeless people" in the suburb that I live in are all adults and probably have had some bad luck which has put them on the street and not by choice so I don't have a problem giving them a little help.

This one afternoon I was just about to get into my car when I hear this cell phone ringing ... I start digging for my cell phone and relise that it wasn't mine. I start to look around to see where it is coming from and all of a sudden one of these "homeless people" pop his head out of the dumpster and starts talking on his cell phone ...

Just vision this guy standing in a dumpster and all you can see is his shoulders and head sticking out the top and he is talking on a cell phone. I thought to my self "this is unbelievable". This guy is digging through the dumpster for what not yet he can afford to have a cell phone. I wonder if he makes his living digging through the dumpsters and sells things at the local pawn shop. And maybe he lives in a nice a house and has a nice car and really isn't "homeless" ... It just makes me go hmmmmm ??

What other things haave made you go hmmmmm ??
