Anh map got a reaction from Cheezees in ROC 9 months . why so long?
If your window to file for citizenship is now open go ahead and file the N400. That will force the ROC to be completed. Sounds a bit crazy, but this has been effective for many VJ members in the past.

You will need a joint sponsor. Your brother is fine. A joint sponsor can be any US citizen or green card holder.

Correct, an updated medical would be needed.

If I were you I would divorce and move on. It sounds like she has regrets about being married and wants to play the " you don't understand about America" card when it suits her.
These are all typical things that married couples have/do. Some folks keep everything separate, some 100% combined, others a mix.
Again, FWIW I'd suggest moving on and creating a normal life for yourself.

Did you include the original or just the translation? Were the original and translation attached together by either whoever translated or notarized it?

    hi
yes you can, but for a job you need an EAD, so really you can't work until you adjust status and receive your EAD
the SSN is only one of the requirements, the other is that you have to be eligible legally to work, that's why you need the EAD work permit that's filed with the adjustment of status packet after marriage

Anh map got a reaction from Lemonslice in as a cosponsor what will I be responsible for?
Read the sponsor's contract on the I-864 form. That outlines the obligations. You would be second in line after your son. They would sue him first as primary sponsor.
This situation sounds awful for the immigrant.
Have the son and the caregiver/fiancee met in person yet?

Because that income would not continue when the petitioner moves back to the US. Current and continuing income is what is needed.

If you haven't had this money for around a year or more then it's not likely to be accepted. Money popped into an account to satisfy the affidavit of support wouldn't be accepted. Now if it's cash that's the result of liquidating some other asset then it may be accepted depending on the paper trail. Money held outside the US isn't as easily used. Some countries have limits on how much can be transferred out.
Cash in the US would be 3 times. Assets outside the US can be 3x and sometimes 5x. That is up to the CO conducting the interview.
See the form I864 instructions for more information. Also the link below to the I864 FAQ may be helpful.

Anh map got a reaction from N-o-l-a in Visa requirements? (merged)
Manila has been known to accept close family members as Greenbaum stated. The USC petitioner should talk to his parents about being a joint sponsor.
Or, the petitioner could get a second job that would put his annualized earnings over the required amount.

Anh map got a reaction from NikLR in Bona Fide Marriage - Does it apply to K1 holders?
You want to show a bona fide marriage, not simply that a ceremony took place. Two different things.
Evidence of shared residence, comingling of finances, travel together (since US entry), time spent together with family and friends, medical insurance, car insurance, wills, and so on. Not all newlyweds will have the entire list. The interviewing officers understand that. Show what you have, how you are building a life together.

You have failed to understand what is required. You are not proving a lawful marriage (that's easy to do with a marriage certificate), but a bona fide marriage.
Typical evidence of a bona fide marriage includes financial comingling, proof a shared address, wills, time spent together with family & friends, travel together, joint accounts, and so on. Just as you had to prove a true relationship to obtain the K1 visa, now you two must prove a true marriage to remove the conditions.

Anh map got a reaction from NikLR in Getting visa with no immediate intention to move to US?
Finishing the process now would not make it faster or easier several years later if you chose to move to the US.
You would begin at square 1 and go through all the required steps in place at that time.

Anh map got a reaction from Asia in Repatriation with spouse on short notice
She won't have a green card in 2 months. You go through the same process as before to obtain the GC. 9 months to a year seems to be the time range.
You file the I-130 petition and she will interview in France. http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1
You will need to submit an affidavit of support. That's a few months down the road so if you are starting your new job in 2 months you ought to be ok. Have you been filing US tax returns while living overseas? If not, you would need to get that sorted out too.

It's not "them" that needs to find the I-94. It's your dad's responsibility to show that he entered legally. A plane ticket doesn't show that.
Get the replacement I-94 and also submit a copy of the police report regarding the lost passport along with a copy of the bio page from the replacement passport.

Divorce and move on. Sort out the immigration issues separately. Don't accept this type of behavior.
