Being a camgirl is totally fine. Many many camgirls have gotten married to men overseas and many men have married camgirls from overseas and gotten K or CR visas. As long as you are 100% honest with everything- there is NO PROBLEM WITH BEING A CAMGIRL. Technically her job is 'internet model' or 'internet chat model'.
Thank you. Fantastic insight! Greatly appreciated.
Mod - I will be happy if you close this thread. Thanks so much.

Camgirl?
In her agency - essentially.

@Lenchick
Good questions - I will discuss with her. Do you have any experience with the Ukrainian consulate?
What if she was paid "under the table" and was not officially employed?
Like I said, we did not meet on the site. We met in person through a mutual friend.
She has been my number 1 party buddy since 2015. We have met many times in Nikolaev, Ribikovka, Odessa, and Kiev. Mostly Nikolaev.
One night we were stranded by an AirBnB host in Kiev and spent the night in the same hotel room in Kiev. Not kissing. Then we moved to a two room apartment.
We will spend several more weeks together before I consider filing.

@Lenchick
I was introduced to my ex-fiance and this girl by friends.
I understand your emotions in regards to this - the dating agency scene is well understood here and in Ukraine.
That is why I asked the question. Do you have experience with how the embassy handles these girls?
Thanks

This is a good resource for the state of the law - not legal advice. Just send your question and if it is interesting - he will write a post.

That was in specific response to:
"Is she paid for "dates", or is she working as an accountant/secretary/marketing rep for the agency - will make a huge difference. "
And my comment was: (why would you misquote me?)
I have met admin women from agencies. The only difference is that they are not hot.
And I met her and developed a relationship with her outside the agency as I stated here:
"Introduced by a woman I did meet through the agency. "

The website is a pay for chat site. She gets paid for her time in chat.
Why a huge difference?

Prostitution not a service provided by this agency. The women will rarely meet and then under agency supervision.
IMBRA not an issue. Excellent point though. Introduced by a woman I did meet through the agency. She turned out to have recently married.

Withdrew the 2016 petition. New potential fiancée. She will list a specific dating agency as her employer - how does the type of services matter?
I tried to delete my old timeline

Many woman make a living from their dating agency. Will that in itself disqualify her for a K-1 with a much older man?

First, I have no idea what CSV is. Second, if you're anything like us you'll soon find out most of your communication is done by video chat and you say you're using skype for video. As of today I have been unable to display any date on a skype screen. If you succeed, please share.
CSV is a file format that you can easily import into any spreadsheet program. Then you can delete the unneeded columns and clean up the formatting because sometimes it is a little messy .
Date time stamps on every entry.
Fantastic video chat but no desktop sharing
-
For people just starting out - I strongly recommend Viber for chat. It has an export to CSV function that is perfect for this. My soon to be fiance (I hope) and I are using viber for chat and Skype for video because we are sharing my screen for her English lessons.

is it that country girl from Ukraine you applied K1 for, withdrew the petition and wrote you were done with her?

Life goes on.
It turns out my girl has a criminal conviction in 2012: 6 years probation. No jail time'
I-601 is required.
If waiver is possible, I plan to marry in Ukraine and file an I-130.
Is the process is I-130, DS-160, interview, refusal, waiver application?
I have already talked to a couple of immigration attorneys. I-601 appears to not be common.
Does anybody know of a firm that does a lot of these?

My K-1 with a Ukrainian fiance blew up recently. Look in RUB for the details if you are interested. I am one of the few guys who could not make it through the famously easy Kiev embassy. While my case was marginal, I am extremely bitter that the Kiev embassy did not give me the chance to work it out in the USA.
Back in 2015, I met this incredible woman as my AirBnB hostess in Istanbul. She is probably 25 years younger than me as a secular Muslim. Every time she shows up in Facebook, my heart jumps. I have no idea if she would be interested in me. But she is still single.
Given 1) I am not going to become a Muslim and 2) I do everything right this time per the relationship fascists at Department of State, 3)and the lady is willing (I have absolutely no idea if she is interested - it was incredibly relaxed and fun when my Ukrainian GF was arriving the next day and she is smart and cute as a bunny - all I know so far.). What are my chances in Turkey?
Thanks

AP is very country specific. I am almost certain that Ukraine is a country that puts petitions in long term AP to die. If they do not have enough reason to reject a petition they do not like, they put it in AP and wait for the petitioner to give up. It is not possible to compare RUB to countries where there are very legitimate reasons for extended AP. In Ukraine, if your petition has enough red flags, you end up in AP purgatory. The relationship nannies in the embassy do not understand that a 60 plus year old individual like me does not have time to meet the asinine "legitimate relationship" criteria. So instead of continuing to work into my late 60s and paying my $50K+ per year in taxes, I am going to retire early and become a burden to the country.
You guys who think I dodged a bullet with my fraught relationship may be right in the long term, but in the short term, if she were here, I bet I would still be productive in 4 years. Instead I am binge watching NCIS and drinking too much.
-
So, if an application goes into AP for no stated reason other than they need time to evaluate it, then does probability of approval decrease over time?
One poster on a Russian language Web site wrote: "if you are in AP it's like a 50% chance of being approved after 60 days then 25% after 90 days and the 10% chance after 120 days".
Any thoughts?

Well they were not lost. Irina needed detailed instructions on where to pick them up. Suck a decorative woman.
-
Just to bring some closure to this - I withdrew my support for Irina's petition and it has been returned to NVC. Irina and I had more problems after the interview. In fact the chat logs would have been devastating if the embassy requested them. Right now it is over between us. Maybe I dodged a bullet. Maybe it would have been great if I could have gotten her here with me. I wish I could have found out.
This process infuriates me.

https://ukraine.usembassy.gov/federal-benefits.html
If you qualify for an exception, your benefit payments will either be sent to the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv or direct deposited in to your U.S. bank account. Benefit checks sent to the Embassy must be picked up by the beneficiary in person; they may not be mailed to you or picked up by anybody else. Also, to receive benefits in Ukraine, whether via check or direct deposit, the beneficiary must appear in person at the U.S. Embassy each month. Failure to do so may result in your benefits payments being stopped. Please contact the American Citizen Services unit for additional information, or for help in determining whether you may qualify for an exception
Unfortunately, it appears you have to go to Warsaw to prove you are alive if you get direct deposit? Sound weird.
Regional Federal Benefits Office
The Regional Federal Benefits Office with responsibility for Ukraine is located at the U.S. Consulate in Warsaw, Poland.

More detail from: https://secure.ssa.gov/poms.nsf/lnx/0302650040. Basically you have to show up once every three months to prove you are alive.
2. Monthly benefit payments
A qualified beneficiary or qualified representative payee may receive monthly payments (by check or direct deposit) while in one of the SSA restricted countries if he or she agrees to the following restricted conditions for payment:
The beneficiary (and qualified representative payee) must (both) appear personally at the FSP every three months and show proof of identity. If we pay the person by check, the FSP can hold the checks until the three-month visit, or the beneficiary (or representative payee) may pick up the checks monthly. The FSP will not mail checks or give them to anyone other than the beneficiary or qualified representative payee.
Failure to appear personally at the FSP within three months will cause benefit payments to stop. The FSP will notify SSA promptly if the beneficiary or representative payee fails to comply with the three- month visit requirement. The FSP will return any undelivered checks to the Treasury Department. SSA will stop direct deposit payments. SSA will not resume payments until the absent person(s) appear(s) personally at the FSP and establish(es) continuing eligibility for benefits.
The beneficiary (or qualified representative payee) must notify the FSP promptly of any change of address or change in citizenship of the beneficiary.
The family or estate of the beneficiary (or qualified representative payee) must notify the FSP promptly if the beneficiary dies.
The beneficiary’s family or estate must notify the FSP promptly if the beneficiary becomes unable to handle his or her own benefits.
Benefits will stop if a beneficiary receiving payments becomes unable to manage his or her own benefits. We will not make payments through a representative payee except for those meeting the conditions in RS 02650.040D.1 of this section.

With regard to collecting USA Social Security payments while living in Ukraine.
The law states that it is illegal to obtain Social Security payments while living in Ukraine.
I'm with Michael. I do not see this anywhere.

@Lenchick - your general concern is absolutely correct and I appreciate your vigilance in looking for another potential victim of international dating scams. All you say is true. It does not apply in this situation.
