Studentss reacted to Mike E in She Doesn’t have last name !
You will not need their DCs. The point of a MC of the parents is that it is evidence that you are a sibling of your brother. The reciprocity link I gave discusses alternatives, if any, to MC. Worse case, USCIS and/or the U.S. embassy will require DNA testing.

I-130, your birth certificate (BC), his BC, his marriage certificate (MC), his wife’s BC, your parents’ MC, BCs of his children.
Also if your brother or his wife have been married before, the divorce decrees (DD) or death certificates (DC) of former spouses
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Pakistan.html for specific requirements on BC MC, DD, DC

Yes it is.
What is likely going to happen is that when she gets a green card, if her sole name is say Aisha, the green will have:
First name: FNU
Surname: Aisha
If she is not OK with that, then she has 20+ years to do something about it.

I have no idea. I’m saying that whatever you put as the derivative’s name on your brother’s petition needs to match any official documents issued by their country.
Do you understand that nothing at all will happen with this case for 20 years??
-

The name on any form should match what is on her birth certificate, marriage license etc.
You can petition your brother and his wife. The child will probably age out. It will take at least 20 years for a visa for your brother to become available. Might want to familiarize yourself with the visa bulletin.

Studentss reacted to Amadia in N-400 CASE IS out of PROCESSING TIMELINE
There are time zones. Hawaii time is what they go by (don't know why).
You are good to try again tomorrow.

Studentss reacted to kkalan2 in moving from Boston,MA to Dallas, TX
I applied for n400 in July 2019 and i am already USC. I applied from Dallas as well.
there are many people applied before me and still waiting for interview and oath due to Covid situation.

Very wrong move. I live in Dallas and my case has been there since 2018 with no action. I would suggest you remain where you are unless you want your case to be unattended for the next 5 years. Goodluck with your decision.

hey @Studentss did you end up updating your address? If you filed your N400 online, you can see an estimated wait time - was yours affected? I'm kind of in the same boat, wondering if it's going to cause a delay to my application even though the new office in my case, is less backlogged than the current one. Thanks!

Have you checked the processing times in Dallas? Seems like entire State of TX is backlogged to next century! I You are not supposed to go to back of the line on case transfers and USCIS should honor the original date of filing. Depending on how far along in your case is, I'd say delay your move to TX for a few months if possible..... All of this is just my opinion.
But you answer your original question - File an AR-11 online and then call the support center (in a few days) to confirm your new address is updated in their systems and reflecting accurately on your N400 application. While you are on the phone with them, confirm that your case WILL move to TX and all further processing will be done out of TX? It may look unnecessary but id recommend confirming. Your address is suppose to be updated automatically on your pending application BUT I'd want to make sure by getting a confirmation from a support agent. You don't want the interview letter to be sent to your MA address by a slight oversight/mistake. However, be prepared for an hour long wait time to get to an agent.

Studentss reacted to Sweet5884 in what should i do for N-400 interview after Green card arrival
Where is your office? Why you did not have the combo interview?

Studentss reacted to MohU3 in what should i do for N-400 interview after Green card arrival
I had the same situation. The same day my 751 was approved they also scheduled me for the N400 interview. They don't need to put you back in line they squeeze you in I think

Studentss reacted to Amadia in what should i do for N-400 interview after Green card arrival
You may need to wait because they have to put you back in line for an available interview date now that the ROC was approved.

Tomorrow I get to call and request an info for pass appt. as my PR extension expires in a month. In looking up what the steps are, I found this video. FFWD the first bit where he talks about the camera. I really appreciated his tone. Plus it’s helpful and the steps are attached
