Hello!
I hope some 2018 filers that are still waiting are following this.
I spoke with someone I know who is a November 2018 filer at LIN. They said they got called for an interview, and they haven't file an n400 so it isn't a combo one that got triggered.
Any other older filers get interview notices recently? We did not.
I applied on July 23, 2018 for I-751 and I am still waiting ,my office is Vermont service center

oooh MY GOD , this is so crazy, i really hope our journey is ending sooner,

Hmmm something is wrong for them to have cancelled your N-400 makes no sense. Is that their explanation because that is wrong information.
The only thing I can think of is something is wrong with your I-751 so they won't let you proceed to a N-400.
We filed:
I-751-May 21, 2018
N-400-May 21, 2019
N-400 Interview Fe, 27, 2020they guy (who supposed to take my interview) said that "my I-751 is pending so he couldn't take my interview, that was his explanation , anyway is your I-751 approved ? or you are going to have combo interviews for both N-400 and I-751?

Hi
It is taking long. And you have applied for citizenship too. I suggest phone uscis and ask what is the hold up. I get tge idea you know tge I1751 must be processed before uscis can process your citizenship application.
Holding thumbs for you!
Thank you for your reply, do you know which number should I call them, ?

I just went to the Office here in Las Vegas for my interview this morning - after going security and handing my invite to the girl I was told my interview was cancelled as they hadn't received my file from storage (not convinced by this as it was very um, ahh, and this was all without even looking me up on the system) - my wife is due to have hers later today also and I was told that they did have hers.
So I guess im now stuck in limbo - I guess im waiting at least another 2 months for it to be rescheduled? Is there nothing that can be done to try and expedite the rescheduling.
any news about interview , i had the similar experience today

I've heard of some cases like that before - it was just unfortunate they couldn't do it together with your 751. when did you apply for the 751 ?

I don't know how long the Vermont center take nowadays but about 2-3 years ago , I-751 were being approved at the 11-12 months mark. Hopefully yours will be looked into sooner.
I am really hoping so, thank you though for your and kind words

hello everyone,
today 1/16/2020 i was scheduled for my N-400 interview at 1:15 PM, i showed up, waited and then they took my picture and fingerprint, the second time i was called and the white guy took me to the separate room and told me that he won't be taking interview from me today because my I-751 is "still not approved and still pending and myself i have received another letter from USCIS about the second time fingerprint for I-751 " two days ago, it is confusing situation, they didn't take care of I-751 yet and they scheduled interview for N-400 for me, the guy told me that after decision is made about my I-751 then they will scheduled my interview again either in the end of the February or in the beginning of march , my question is " is this normal has this been down with someone else or i am the only one, i am a little worried, whats going on?
P.S: i am still married to the same spouse and we have one daughter
Thank you in advance

Did you maintain a residence in the United States during that one month (Did you have a house or apartment?) I do not think going on vacation somewhere means that you are "living" in the place where you took the vacation...
I think you don’t understand on my question, I mean the answer which I gave to the question from July 2014-July 2019
three years I have stayed in the USA and two years I was abroad but not completely because in those two years I went my home country where my wife came from the USA and we got married and stayed for about a month or a little more in my home country then i flied back abroad to study until my visa came out and came to the USA so the two years which I mentioned “I didn’t stay the whole two years in one that place which is university because I went on vacation in that one month and then came back to university but I only mentioned I was in university which is not correct, I also sent them my marriage certificate where it’s mentioned that we got married on Special date in my home country which I didn’t mention in the application that I forgot
-
hello everyone,
i just filed online my N-400 but quickly realized after submitting that i forgot one month of history "in my last five years" to the question
where have i lived in the last 5 years? , i now remembered that i went for one month vacation from the place where i used to study and live? and that one month the marriage also took place, its a complete contradiction because i have married in that one month and visited my home country, will this make any problem for me? i used to study abroad and for one month i went home where we got married and then came back to study abroad, so the question "where did i live in the last 5 years" i only mentioned the place where i used to live but forgot to mention that for one month i went home
thank you everyone in advance

I used the step by step process and checklist that is posted on the USCIS website.
Every case is different, so people add to that as they see neccessary.
The actual N-400 online application will guide you through step by step and if something is missing on the form it will let you know.
Thank you CRB,

Greetings N-400 July 2019 filers
We filed online yesterday based on 3-year rule
I-751 is still pending in VSC, no movement whatsoever since biometrics in August of 2018.
Our field office that should be taking care of the naturalization process is in Raleigh, NC.
I was unable to add our info to the spreadsheet. I kept getting the "trying to connect" or "working" message, but it did not save anything
hello,
i am about to file N-400 in the coming week, can you please show me any guidance which is easy step by step to file online?
Thank you and have a great day

htcar,
do you have the tracking number which courier shipped your documents, didn't they give you tracking number? you have to contact the courier as soon as possible, you have to take action whatever it is the more you delay the more it's going to be longer and uneasy process, if i were you, i would go right away first to the courier office after i found out that they can't find my documents, if you don't have the tracking number NOR they gave you, then i would look for resubmission as soon as possible, lets see what other expert say about it but don't set down and wait, do something right away, this is what i would do if this happened to me
