So you are filling from abroad. How much documents can be sent to pass the proving domocile? I have read the suggestions on VJ but what do you suggest?

  3. Hi,

An agent can be any1 designated to get notifications on your case eg. the petitioner, the applicant or an attorney (if you have one). The agent must have a valid email address to get emails from NVC.

The IIN is the # you get before paying the respective IV and AoS fees and the Beneficiary Id # is the # that NVC assigns to the applicant and it starts with the first 3 letters of the embassy or consulate where your interview will take place.

    thanks a lot Amadia,

  4. You're welcome. Happy to help :)

angela_garcia23 : i have another question we received email today and also got our case is updated online that they sent our case to the department of state now my question is that i have to call them to confirm did they receive our case or not , so after dialing NVC - 603-334-0700 and pressing 1 then which number i have to press to confirm weather they received our case or not , mean which option number i have to press to get confirmed aout our case

    thank you so much

  5. If you click on the link Linjoe sent you all that information is there. The phone numbers and time to call are also there. You just need to click on it and read the information there. Good luck.

thank you Keas , another question is that with our I-130 i had sent every things very very well , for example my email my address and my phone number and everything they want and the same my spouse i did send them everything so why i do need to call them and give them my email and spouse email because i had done every thing very professionally before, why the USCIS wouldn't give them our whole information why they NVC don't have it " email and everythings ours?

    thank you Keas Please comment

  6. Use the links I provided. NVC doesn't mail you anything. you have to be proactive and keep calling them to confirm they received your approved petition from USCIS. Then keep calling them to see if they assigned a case number and invoice number for you. Then call them to review your DS-261. Then after you send your AOS and IV packets, you'll call to confirm they received it. Then you'll call to find out case complete. Lots of calling on your part.

Okey Thank you LinJoe, did you do the same things and all of the people are doing " calling them" ?

actually i am living outside now USA so i don't know how to call and when to call Please can you give number of NVC and everybody is calling to NVC sorry for disturbance but i am new to this stage really don't know anything?

    thank you so much

  7. Welcome to the forum! Read the first post on this thread. it has a lot of really good information. It also has the link to the NVC process which is super helpful. Here it is for easy reference: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Also read the Department of State website to understand it from there as well: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/approved/contact.html

There are a lot of helpful people on this forum, so read through the Wiki process multiple times and ask questions when you have it. Remember to keep your timeline updated. it will help when people are helping you.

I hope you started gathering the documents needed for this stage while you were waiting for your petition to be approved. If you did, this stage will go faster for you.

The other important thing to remember is you will need to be proactive with NVC. you will be calling them quite often during this stage.

    Congratulations!

Thanks a lot of this helpful information LinJoe, but i am little confused because i was reading the visa journey information about nvc step that is looking defferent than this one becuase there is not mentioned that you will call them there is mentioned that after you got your NOA2 and then the NVC will send you the packet of document that you and your spouse will complete it here the link of that

    http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

i read from here " What Happens After You Mail the I-130 Out?"

i don't know which one the correct one and i should follow ?

  8. Hi I am new to the forum thing, here is my story

    Married 09/24/2015

    Priority date 10/09/2015

    Potomac transfer date 11/09/2015

I have received nothing I asked to have case expidite dandy I was told they can't fulfill that request as it means they would send case to an officer for adulation but proceeded to tell me that that was already in play

Waited 30 days still no word so put in a request for out of processing time and was told wait another 60 days every time I have called it has been a different story I was told two more weeks a total of 3 times since April 9,2016

    Is anybody else experiencing this?

Hi Kands0924, i am almost the same like you my PD is 19/10/2015 and transfer date is 11/09/2015 but nothing happened yet still waiting and checking

    uscis 24/7

  9. It's not lying. The person sent an enquiry saying that they hadn't received their approval notice yet. Which they haven't. The reason they haven't received it is because if hasn't been approved yet (and not because it has been approved but got lost in the mail) but "I have not received my approval notice" is not a lie. It's not deception.

I don't think you get it. These people are desperate. They filed in October last year and were sent to Texas. People who filed in December last year and were sent to Texas have already been approved. These people he were transferred to Potomac last November and are now watching people who filed in February being approved. I have every sympathy for them and if I were in their shoes I would be distraught. They have been given a really rough ride.

I'm sure with what they are going through, you and your other ID here and your childish remarks are the least of their worries. If you cannot contribute productively, take your various IDs elsewhere.

JFH, you did a very beautiful answer , it is really true that he broke my heart by saying that because he made me worried and i made a mistake truly but it has been more than six months we are not approved yet

and this is also true that i made a mistake 100% i did not do to deceive them that was not my attention i just wanted to inform them because i sent my file on 19/10/2015

  10. who knows I am a filler of October and still waiting well yes got a RFE 4 days ago and sending my RFE todays so I see you just filled good luck hope you dont wait 6 + months

Bosna1234; i am in the same boat where you are my PD is 19/10/2015 i tried for inquiry but they said you are still in the processing timeline then i changed the subject and then sent to them inquiry about that i did not receive the approval letter yet do you think it is a good think because they did not even approve my case yet but i sent them that i did not receive approval letter because this is the only way to ask them what's going on ?
