  1. Quick question. I used my home phone number on I-130 & 129F. Since i don't answer my home phone if i'm not familiar with the caller's number. Now i'm in the last part, I used my cellphone number on my DS230. They are reviewing it right now (2-4 weeks). do you guys think it will affect my DS230 or i might receive RFE with this?

    Thanks for the time

  2. For the police clearance in Manila, Philippines. She need to get it personally coz she need to be photograph. It will take a day to get it. While she's in manila, she might need NBI clearance also. For nbi and police clearance, tell them for travel abroad purposes.

    Hi garyandkris,

I lived in the Netherlands for 15 months and needed a police certificate from them. The consulate/embassy requested one to the Dutch police in my behalf. Contact the consulate/embassy and say you'll need a police certificate from the Netherlands and how can you have them request it. Don't take their bullshit. I had contacted the consulate in Rio a few months earlier and they had told me by e-mail that they'd request the form. Once my case was sent from the NVC to Rio, I called the consulate again to check when I could send the form with my info. The person on the phone told me I needed to get it myself. I panicked! I faxed them all the info I had, their e-mails, etc.... and then they realized the mistake they were doing and got me the certificate. I took them about two weeks to get it back.

    Alix :star:

I guess I need to try getting through to somebody at the Embassy in Manila on monday that isn't completely retarded. Every time my wife has called they have just told her that she needs to get it herself and to follow the website. She has been crying since the interview ended.

  3. For the proof, photos are good example. You can add phone call log, emails and letters. For the I-1864 forms. They will send you a letter what form you need to send them so you dont need to worry. Just make sure you have a copy of the form you will send to them. And you need original or certified copy of birth certificate ( u and ur husband), marriage certificate and citizenship certificate (keep the originals and send a copy only unless they asked for originals. plus 2 passport photo.

    Hi everyone!

My name is Megan and I married my wonderful husband in Tegucigalpa, Honduras January 13, 2007! A few days after we both visited and talked with someone in the U.S. Embassy with DHS who gave us the I-130 form, 2 G325A forms and a list of everything that must be submitted with it. She also told me to go directly to the nearest DHS office (I live in Savannah, GA) and submit the paperwork and file everything. I plan on making a few phone calls tomorrow to find out where exactly to go and I believe from what I've read on the USCIS website that I have to make an InfoPass appointment with the DHS office in Atlanta, GA in order to file the I-130. Does this sound right? I just want to make sure that I make no mistakes because I would HATE to have the process delayed!! I miss my husband SO much! :crying:

Was anyone REALLY nervous when filing and wondering if they were doing it right? I'm really nervous as you can tell!

What is really better? Filing in person or doing it online or sending it in? I would think filing in person would be better, but I'm no expert!

What kind of things need to be submitted with the I-130 form? Like what kind of proof to show that my husband and I have been together since 2003? I have pictures that are dated from 2003 until now. Do you all think that those pictures are good proof?

And the only forms that I need to submit with this package is just the I-130 and G325A forms right? I was listening on the USCIS automated phone number and it said that some people submit those as well as the I-864 form and the I-485 form. Do I have to submit those too?

Sorry for all the questions! I just really need some reassurance and some help!

    Thank you for any responses!

  4. Just visit www.uscis.gov and get the forms from there. then there's instruction there what to do and where to send the form. All you need for now are I-130 and 2 G325A (for u and ur husband). If you have a questions. Just post it here. Good luck

  5. Boo,

Hello. Just ignore that packet. I received 2 packet (1/18/07) from NVC on the same date.

1 packet is ds230 (dated 1/16/07) and the other packet was the letter saying that i'm missing documents (which is ds230 - dated 1/10/07). The reason was they received I-864 already. Usually they received ds230 first then they will ask for I-864. Keep your documents for now and wait for ds230 packet. Just make sure your nbi and police clearance were for travel abroad purposes. Good luck

im a bit confused here i received today an envelope of containing three mails..and it says im missing documents for visa application which is the 0F 230-I. What other documents should i submit they did not say what are those other documents. Please someone help me now. Should i submit my other documents such as birth certificate, marriage nbi, and police clearance together with the barcode attachment? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HELP ME!

    Boo

  6. Yes you can go to philippines even if your petition still on pending. Even if you receive any mail from NVC and/or CSC while ur gone. You will still have more time to respond back to them. Register to USCIS case status online so you can check your case status online or it will send email for the update of ur case while ur in pinas. have fun and enjoy ur vacation there kabayan.

    hi everybody.

    how are you guys?

im planning to go to the philippines to spend time with my wife for a month (FEb to march).

her I-130 petition is pending at CSC since december 2, 2006 and her I-129f petition (K-3) is pending at CSC since january 4, 2007.

we are just waiting for the approval (hope it will arrive soon)...

do you think its ok to go to the philippines for a month even do her petition is pending here in the states.

are there any petition paperworks that i should be worry about while im out of the country.

i though had my sister here in the states to check my mail everyday.

    thank you guys.

good luck to all of us.

hope we will be with our loved ones soon.

    God Bless us all.

Not only is it ok, but it's a good thing considering it will be evidence of your ungoing relationship. If you have someone checking your mail then you are fine. If something arrives they can alert you and you can take action from there.

    thanks for the reply.

    i do appreciate it.

    God Bless.

  7. Yodrak,

    my I-129F petition was denied.

    kyle_lairic,

Was it really a K3 visa application that was denied, or are you writing about your I-129f petition?

    Yodrak

My K3 has been denied, their reason was they sent me a letter last aug and requesting for additional evidence to support my papers but i have not receive anything from them except papers for I-130. I need help. what should i do? How can i check what form did i missed or the status of my case online? Do my K3 denial will affect my I-130 petition? my I-130 was approved. Need help ASAP. thanks

  8. Thanks for the reply. i did notice on ur timeline that you did not file ur K3 (I-129F). I think we have the same timeline on I-130 coz i just paid my application for visa fee and filed my I-186 (affidavit of support) last week of dec.

Should I appeal on my K3 or let it be since K3 is only optional and continue with my I-130.

    Thank you so much

Would be helpful if you had your timeline and or signature updated so we could help. If your I-130 has been approved proceed that way. The denial has no affect on that approval.
