No the children don’t naturalize only you do. They get us citizenship because you as their parent become one.They can not change name with your citizenship certificate and cannot do it with us passport or N-600 without court order. 

Sounded more like it’s was they new request for fingerprints that put a stop for it.

Separately, aside from the length of time this will take it’s pretty sad that a graduate like that would be acting as a nanny or housekeeper, why would she not look for a job she was qualified to take whenever she can get here? If she’s that qualified she could maybe explore a work visa of some sort, get her here much faster if she can find an employer to sponsor her and with may I say far superior work.

Kansas city is a fast Office. That was my office but I went 6 months over my estimate but that was also in the spring when things were shut down so I wouldn’t be surprised if it did take 4 months at that office. 

Many people remove conditions with a divorce waiver. If you get divorced you can apply as soon as your divorce is final and you have the divorce decree.

Update! DOS sent a email this morning saying My passport book and card were approved and that they are printing them today. Yay! 
says it should arrive on or around 11/28/2020. Basically next Saturday. That was fast processing for me!

I had my Citizenship interview today 11/12/2020 and I was approved!! 😁😁 Unfortunately the oath ceremony had to be scheduled for another day due to their computer system being down. I'm just relieved to have it over and done with. Oath ceremony is scheduled for November 19 ❤

I had one. He got his bio appointment 1 month and 1 week after I had mine. We had a combo interview so we never got the card but went straight to citizenship. (I-751 of course approved at N-400 interview)

Yes our letter said that too. But everyone at our office had their spouse with them. Mine was in August. But could be my office in KC just let them in. Some are more strict with it others not so much. We had to wear mask of course.

Mine is 14. No you don't apply for a child under 18 for N-400. They will automatically become a citizen when you do. (if under 18, in your custody and a GC holder)

Just asking. Are you 100% sure that the other one got denied? I mean if you think he took your passport and other documents can you really trust what he said about that case? Did you ever check the case number online? Call them to check on that status?

So....the egov site got updated but not the myUSCIS site so I'll check back on Wednesday to see if they uploaded the letter under the Documents tab.
