Hi Again Pagos76
I called and talked with a nice guy and he said since more than 42 is passed from supervisor review he will send an email to the dept and ask them to have the mail back . and he said he will talk with the supervisor in his break time to specify i have been waited for a long time and talk about my case.
I said can I talk with the supervisor so she can review the form for me on the phone. he said we do not have the mail here so we cannot review it on the phone for you yet. you need to wait until we have the mail from that dept. then the supervisor will review it in 1 day and so i could not talk with a supervisor.
does it sound logical for you? what would u do if you were in my shoe
?
Not sure what advice to give to you at this point.... So I will tell what I did. I called everyday and directly asked for a supervisor saying that this has gone on for too long. Then when a supervisor was not availabke I asked to be put back into the waiting line. Then again till I got through ( usually bybthe second time I did). Then I told the supervisor the very same thing. If I still got the answer you got I asked them tovat least look at the rest of the case ( documents etc) to make sure that everything was going well. Then I gave them the rest of the day off and called again next day. It took me 3 days to get to Sylvia
. Maybe it was luck or just my time..... Sorry I cannot help more and please know that I understand your pains. Good luck

thanks
I called and she did not understand what i am talking about
) maybe i was not clear enough
she said wait for review to be done
I would not wait. 3 months you say..... I recommend that you call and ask nicely to be connected to a supervisor (preferably Sylvia) due to the reason that this is taking too long. Explain this to the supervisor and he/she will most likely do the review right there on the spot. That is what I did. and just to give you an example they said my wife passport was missing and I asked the Supervisor to email it to her directly while we were on the the phone and she checked the email and went ahead and did the review. So in my opinion unless you get a CC with a couple of weeks, just go ahead and try for a Supervisor.

did you call at all to ask the NVC?

Hello and a big thank you to all VJ's for their advice and support.
I Just got of the phone with Sylvia and she gave me a CC after I send her an email with my wife's passport attached. I filed the DS-260's in July and that means it took them 82 days to even look at them. 30 days after sending the DS-260's I asked for a Supervisor to look into my case (guess that was a mistake) and I waited another 20 days before I started calling every week and the last week's been calling everyday. So here is my advice: NEVER SURRENDER call as often as you can and ask to speak to a supervisor and then ask them to review you over the phone. Anything else they tell you is a LIE.
Now please if someone knows how long does it usually take to get a confirmation email that your case is complete?

I heard it once....called one week later and was told that I miss understood. Made my Lawyer call and she was told that the rep should NOT have said what she said and that they would look into it. Case still under review. Then they asked for my wife's passport because they don't have it. It was send as a packet of 4 passports so that's kinda of impossible but anyway. Then I get a Letter demanding AOS documents even though I am exempt and don't need them. In my opinion call again and ask again and talk to a supervisor and ask to clarify what this "NEW STEP" is because I think that someone is just ignorant in there.

For my case I provided the police certificates for the 2 countries me and my wife lived in while we were students. Now a Supervisor asked me for my Greek certificate. I told her that it is not required since the embassy directly asks for a court certificate in the ministry of justice here in Greece. She told me she does not belive me and told me to send via fed ex the print out from the Athens embassy that describes this process. Next day another supervisor told me that this is not correct and that the last supervisor was probably mistaken....... My lawyer is having a field day.

our cases are not similar but you have to remember that at the NVC we all more or less stew in the same pot. The only difference is which supevisor you get that might finish your case quickly. I would call on tuesday and try to get through to a supervisor right away. most likely you will be told that one is not available so hung up and try again. Unless you talk to a supervisor you will have to wait for a reply to your email, which in my experience takes forever.

In my case they only added me (I am the primary applicant) and not my wife and 2 kids. The reason I found out only after 2 months of calling and emailing them was that they lost the file that the USCIS send them and they only got the cover letter with my name Only. What you need to do is call (I don't think email is a good choice) and talk to a supervisor and explain what is going on. Then ask to send to the Supervisor directly the application to add you as his wife, along with any documents that the NVC will need so you may be cleared as soon as possible. I hate to tell you this and I honestly pray you do not suffer what I am suffering still but be prepared for delays.
I wish you Good luck

just to give an update my attorney called and they said: "Your client was misinformed. Yes I see he got told that his case was complete, but like I said he was misinformed." Then the Supervisor that took over claimed that my wifes passport photocopy was missing. This was another flat out lie. I was there when the packed was assembled and all 4 passport copies were attached to each other, so if they had 1 they had the others, to which the supervisor said well we need it anyway. Stll waiting for a little competence

Here is the story so far. My case has been at the NVC since February but they "lost" the case or as they said the USCIS only send them the cover letter. I fixed that in March and the ceac website opened only for me and not for my wife and 2 kids. while I waited I decided to pay my fee and file my DS-260, which was completed on May 5th. My wife's and kids fees were paid by check via attorney in July and the system opened the DS-260's and I filled those on July 6th. Since then I was put on Supervisor review on August 5th and have been patiently waiting. On August 26th I called the NVC and talked to a Supervisor and she said: "Oh you are qualified." and then we had a nice 10 minute discussion on what is next and waiting times from now on etc etc etc. Since then because I did not see an change on the ceac website to call again today and ask what is going on. At the first level of the NVC call center I got the following: "Sir your DS_260s have not been reviewed yet." I was petrified. She seemed to want to hang up on me and kept asking if that was all. I kept pushing as calmly as I could asking if I could have the name or number of the person I spoke to last time I called. She kept wanting to hang up. Finally I told her: " Listen can you see what we talked about?" She said : "Yes, and I cannot figure out why you talked about completion when you case is clearly under review. I have flagged your case to be looked at because something is not OK".
Waiting for months and taking medications to calm nerves is one thing. LYING TO ME IS ANOTHER.

I am done and I am now happily in the US with my wife and kids. Also I happy to report that We requested and expedite because my wife was pregnant and They expedited us and our newborn girl is now a little proud american.
I need to clarify here that the expedite was granted as we were told by the consul at Athens because non of us were US citizens and a newborn would put us back to square 1 of the whole immigration process
