It means they're working on your case. The updates just mean that they're working on it, as in received documents, noted utbon your fine, etc. Once they check out and. all the documentation the status will actually change.
 Whenever you are lacking needed documents at your interview it puts a delay on your case. You'll have to wait it out and give them time to finish up 

After you register you can keep the confirmation for yourself, but the embassy doesn't need a copy of it.
If your visa is approved they will ask if you have registered for DHL.
