Tick yes, with or without itemized explanation or just leave unticked with n/a. Do not tick no, someone was denied for that at the Sweden consulate and had to supply a new form.

Sure, some choose to do that - but nobody ever got an RFE for not sending any of that. It also doesn't give you any benefits to do so.

A'n'L got a reaction from Michael2017 in Medical Exams Questions (reasons to be denied)
    Reasons to be denied:
    - Communicable diseases
    - Refusal to vaccinate
    - Drug use
    - Alcohol abuse
    - Mental health issues that leads to being a danger to oneself or others
Obesity and cholesterol are nothing (=nothing) to be worried about for the immigration medial perspective :-)
    Good luck!

    No no no.

Anyone can marry in the US, no immigration status needed. Entering with the intent to stay is what's illegal (without immigrant visa).

A pending AOS allows for EAD, no prior visa needed.

Filing married jointly or married separately is both fine, as long as neither of you filed as single.

Make sure to bring several certified and apostilled copies of your BC, you'll most likely need it for several purposes in the US.

It's a grey area in the sense that there is no law prohibiting it, but some people tend to think it's not OK. Those people misinterpret the regulations regarding US employment. The only thing that is illegal/against US law is for a US employer to hire an alien without a valid US work permit. Working remotely for a foreign company while on US soil is currently not under any regulations whatsoever.

You're both right, but she would be taking a huge risk if she doesn't apply as soon as possible. She has no legal presence and is deportable. Furthermore, she cannot travel abroad not work until she applies and obtains documentation.

She'll need to file i130 in addition to the i485, since she is not eligible to file based on her K1 visa.

    Hi and welcome!
Right now, you sit back and relax for a few months while your paperwork waits in line. Take the time to hang out on this forum, read the guides and join the discussion. Loads of good information and encouragement to be found. Join the Scandinavian sub-forum (or have your wife do, that's where you'll be able to learn about the medical and interview phase).
I'm sad to say that you probably wasted your time filing the i129f, as it is considered dead at this point. The i130 is most likely to be processed first, at which point the other petition will be closed

Stop worrying about taxes - really, look into it next February.  Right now, it does not matter.   Taxes and EAD have nothing to do together.

I suggest you contact a lawyer and discuss your situation; an hour consultation should be sufficient.

When your other evidence is solid, affidavits are not at all important.

Everything needs to be in papir format. Electronic submissions are not accepted (data security). Albums or other "bulky" items are not acceptable either, everything needs to be easily disassembled and scanned by the CO.

You do have marriage plans: courthouse. A big wedding celebration is not expected. Just tell the CO the truth.
