I had my Oath Ceremony today, and just updated the spreadsheet for reference. It looks like there are a few of us whose oath taking is scheduled to be today as well. In that case, congratulations to all of you! 
 
And I know that Oath Taking day experiences has been posted before so I’ll keep my account short.
 
The ceremony I attended today was held in my city’s district court. Security was a breeze and there were 22 new citizens. I turned in my Green Card and the accomplished oath letter to the immigration officer present (he was my interviewing officer too lol) and then I went to my assigned seat in the court room and found a packet with a flag, a US passport application form, a Welcome Citizen booklet and a message from the President. Also in the packet is my Naturalization Certificate (the joy is unreal to be finally holding this piece of paper after all the immigration battle!) and court petitioned name change certificate. There were two judges in the seat and they both gave their endearing remarks. We got sworn in and the event came to a close in about an hour. 
 
Thank you, everyone for all the kind word during my time in this forum. This was truly an epic journey. I hope for you who are waiting for the end (and possibly the start of our new American life) a brave heart, a strong mind and a never ending will to get through and through!

Yay! Congrats!!! I had my oath today! I was there from 8:30 til 11! I’m so excited! I’m so happy!!!!!!

Congratulations! I too had the same experience. My interview date was September 30th in Ft Smith, AR. I wasn’t approved on the spot because they found another file in my name and my file needed to be merged. IO said this is to no fault of my own so I was sooo devastated getting denied the experience of being approved and knowing that I can take a step up that day. But today, I got an email saying I was finally recommended for approval! Man, I thought this day would never come. 😭👏 The 79 days of waiting since interview date finally ended. Now waiting for the oath to be scheduled. 

I got my approval notification!!!!!! I am so so happy, now just waiting to have the ceremony scheduled. @FGr did you already get your ceremony letter? Somehow my completion time jump to June 2020 after today's update lol 

Hello! Subsequent to my interview on 11/14/2019, I had my oath ceremony on last Friday, 12/6/2019 at the Atlanta USCIS field office.
The ceremony was scheduled for 12:30 PM. I got there quarter to noon. After the security check,  the questionnaire in the form N445 was reviewed
by a USCIS officer. Then I was advised to go to the second floor where the oath ceremony was. There, I had to check-in and was given a token with a
number on it. I was asked to take the seat marked with that number. This entire process took only about 20 minutes. People were coming in until about 1:20 PM.
The visitors were asked to wait outside the hall until the ceremony started. I'd advise you not to bring any of your young children, unless you have another adult guest
who would take care of them for you.
 
The ceremony started at 1:30 PM. It was presided by an USCIS officer. The officer let visitors in at that time. There were not enough seats for all the visitors.
They were all standing along the wall. The ceremony was very simple and quick. There were 150 people being naturalized on that day hailing from 43 countries.
A video showing how immigrants helped shape America was played. Then we took the Oath of Allegiance and officer declared that we are all US Citizens. 
Then, we did the Pledge of Allegiance and then we sang the National Anthem. We were then asked to walk out of the hall in a single line. As we were walking out,
they took the token back and gave the certificate of Naturalization. The ceremony lasted only about 20 minutes.
 
We were offered to register to vote. I did it there to save a trip. (It looks like the first time registration can't be done online). It was quick. I was out of there by 2 PM.

Guys, this is just my personal opinion, but I’m really just going to say this once despite it being repeated by others multiple times.
 
Ok so here we go.  I appreciate all the formatting some of us are doing to make the data sheet more analytical, but remember that the sheet is shared among us (on the other tab are the August filers’ data so if you are an August filer reading this, make sure you are editing on the right sheet). Also, when you are editing your own entry or the whole table, or editing collectively, please make sure that you do not alter any one else’s information. If you make a mistake, please undo before saving. If you need help, I have a long professional experience in excel programming. Please message me. I can help you! 
 
Now, it seems pretty explanatory from this end not to touch what’s not yours etc etc.... But I feel that it is necessary to write a seasonal reminder about this. 
 
Please remember, keeping tabs of our progress should be the least of our worries with all the immigration thing going on. Let us be better than USCIS about handling our own files ok? We are all in this together!

I just got finished with my interview a few minutes ago. I got sworn in, passed all the tests and got my form questionnaire reviewed. BUT officer could not approve me because of an encoding error (literally, he said was on their end and he was sort of apologetic). Still the form I received said I cannot be approved at this time and would have to wait until they fix their system (which again is a mistake on their end- to my great inconvenience!)  Apparently their office encoder entered my case twice and so now I have to wait til that get merged before my case proceeds. I feel like this is a unique case so I hope I am taking one for the team, that no one else have to be robbed of that feeling of “yes, I made it!” Because right now I don’t know how to feel. Nothing was my fault, yet I can’t freely say it turned out okay. I’m like in limbo and I don’t know if anyone would ever follow up with it, or if my case will get cold etc. Oh well. Bring in the suspense to the very last, why not? 😂😂😂

Well first congratulations.  I have read of similar issues like yours and the people received the official approval a few days later online.  Hope that will be the same in your case.

IO swore me in, randomly picked 6 civic questions and then asked me to write a sentence in English on the tablet using a funny looking tablet pen, proceeded to ask everything on the application form. Then we started chatting about life and kids. And that was it.

I just got an update on my case status.  The completion time went from Nov to December 🤦🏻‍♂️ 
Status updated from “we scheduled your biometrics” to “we reviewed your biometrics” and added a month to completion time.

@ljmp_10 @Miki28 @scottsvisa @Matt72@Daisy&Vincent I want to think that the estimate may be longer than the actual completion time, so don’t lose hope, guys. Mine even said 6 months, yet I got my interview scheduled today! What date that is, I have yet to find out. 😂
