  1. We had our birth certificate notarized but that was our choice, all our other documents were'nt notarized. I'm sure you don't need to. As long as you sign the statement either on a cover page or seperate page stating that all the photocopied documents your providing them are copies of the original then there shouldnt be a problem :)

In my opinion I wouldn't go with a lawyer either, I've heard some pretty bad stories about them making the whole process a whole lot more difficult.

Good luck on your journey :)

  2. lol! I was just considering this yesterday. I actually had to move a treadmill or two over because the giant industrial fans were in direct flight path of her and myself. My gym even provides deodorant. Maybe some people like that primal smell

  3. I remember how worried we were that we'd forgotten something or not signed something, eventually we just had to let it go and hope for the best hehe. Good luck on your journey :)

Noura - I don't see why that would make a difference. In fact adding that information would probably only add to proof of your relationship. I wrote about 3/4 of an A4 page stating the basic story of how we met first and then how we met in person. We actually met 5 or more years before we actually decided to take anything further. I added detail to the letter but not too much that it became like a romance novel lol. I think you just answer that question as if you were telling a friend about how the two of you met.

    Good luck with it :)

  4. We got exactly the same message the day before ours was delivered. It's just a standard delivery message. It means that they delivered it to the post office and left a notice in in the persons PO box to pick up because you requested delivery confirmation they have to do this to confirm it was picked up. Don't worry, ours was picked up at 5am the next morning and signed for :)
