so at 6:18am EST (only posting the time because its SUPER EARLY and makes me wonder if we are being chosen at random by a computer) I got an email saying they had taken action on my case and my new card was being produced! WAHOO. Any ideas how long its going to take? I told my wife I'll be at the mail box every time the mailman comes until i get my hands on it.

So, I also wanted to give a proper update on my end. I had a N-400 and i751 combo interview a week ago. Both of my cases were approved and my status changed to "placed in line for my oath ceremony". So I am really happy that I am almost done and hopefully I will become a citizen before xmas. Thank you all for your support and sharing your experiences all this time!

I got lucky? Huge line, but the lady didn’t care much and let me pass. So, all told it saved me 10 days...which over 8 months I suppose is nothing. Feels like I accomplished something though!

Helloooo)) i got my time after 4 days . but i got my finger prints appoitment on day number 5) and i print this paper from online account and went erlier on 22 days . my apointment was on november 5 but i came to USICS in Tampa october 15 . same day , they changed my waiting time from 11 month to 9 month . now i see only 7 months . i hope next december i will go to interview . my friend from tampa he aplyed august 24 and got interview october 2 or 4 i dont remember . 

What I have done is gone back to precious threads such as january\april\july 2018 N-400 filers and tracked people that are at my same local office and see how fast their processes has taken. 
For my specific case I have seen that these 3 individuals all got their interview notices around 3 months after applying for the N-400.
 
jan filer - 2 months 21 days from application sent to interview letter
apr filer - 3 months  9 days from application sent to interview letter
jul filer   - 3 months  3 days from application sent to interview letter
 
So I am looking for around the same amount of time to recieve my interview notice.

I filed for N400 this morning.  Can't believe it's my 1-year anniversary since filing the I-751. 
 
I keep bouncing on and off https://my.uscis.gov/account to see if anything's happening yet. Don't know what I'm expecting, a chorus of angels to herald my submission perhaps. LOL

I did my biometrics today (as scheduled) and time to case completion on myuscis has shortened from 13 to 11 months now.  Case status has changed from “biometrics was scheduled” to “case being actively reviewed”.

I filed online.   What I liked about it is that USCIS receives your application instantly and you get a case number instantly too.  Also the fees are taken from your account the same day.   If you send them by paper it takes a few days to do that.   So its faster that way, even if for a few ways.   I found it really easy to fill out and your online account keeps all your information, documents, etc.   I would recommend it for many reasons.  

Congratulations!! Would you please do us a favor and post some hard evidence such as wording in the approval letter or a picture of the notice with important information blanked out? Along with please fill out your timeline and lets us know which service center you filled at? I am sure everyone on VJ in this thread would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

So I just received my biometrics letter today! WAHOO! Things seem to be moving quickly! (I know thats not really the case, but wanted to seem positive!!)

You got your greencard in Jan 2016. You want to show commingling of finances and living at the same address together for all of the time since then. If everything thing you send is only dated late 2017, then you haven't covered the two year timeframe. For example car insurance with both names from back in early 2016, late 2016, mid 2017, and most recent. Same can be said for utility bills, or bank statements. You don't need every single month, but some of your dated material needs to go back and show a span of the entire time since your greencard. 
 
10 photos will be plenty. 

Filed on July 12 2016 biometrics August 2 2016 and today finally status changed to card in production. 
Also my case was divorce waiver. And I wasn't call for interview or anything. Omg I am on the seventh sky.

Why don't you go and visit him? That way he doesn't have to quit his job, and you won't have the worry about how it will look throughout the rest of the petition?! As said though, after NOA2, things do go quite fast. I would maybe wait a couple of weeks, and once you have your interview date, if its a few weeks away, squeeze in a trip to go and visit then!!

Thank you a.t.j24 .. yes we're happily married thank God and we have some joint documents to show and thousands of pics.. I can't avoid getting nervous for important and serious stuff.. I'm praying for us to get a nice officer in the interview.. congrats on your GC approval!
