for a franchise it's a E2 investor visa required. I need to check how mon I have to get my US citizenship as I had my GC for 5 years.

My partner got rejected for her E2 visa business, she bought a franchise. I am a LPR and working in the US and would her to come and join me so we can live together with our daughters. What options would you recommend?

A quick question, my wife new employer will sponsor her for a job in the US in their US headquarters, she is swiss and the company is swiss...

We were told that they would provide her a E visa? But which one is it? E1 or E2? And after how long could she apply for a GC?

Thanks to all of you! That's what i thought... yes she could qualify for a E2 visa, so we could live together, then after 5 years who knows, maybe we would come back to Europe or stay...

I have a US Greencard and a big company is interested in my profile, so I am about to probably get a job in the next 2-3 months, however my partner (we are not married yet) and our daughter do not have a greencard...I could sponsor them but it would take us close to 2 years for them to have a Greencard, what could the US company (actually swiss and american) provide them as US Visa for them to join me in the US? Any expat wife visa? or any other option?

I am still in the same position, I have a job offer in the US, we are not married, and I would have to start in 3 months!!! I don t know what solution I have except that we would have to wait close to 2 years of separation (with children!)... and if that s the case, then I will not accept the job unfortunately!

How many times is it possible to go to the US under ESTA per year? Let's say if one stays just under 3 months?

How many times you think she will be able to use the VWP (ESTA) during a year before being asked why she spends so much time in the US? 2 times?

I just want to find the best visa for her to join us in the US while we wait for her greencard....

I think everyone in a 1st place tried to avoid this visa in the end that the only option that s why we re all here today.... it took me 7 years personnaly to do this visa because i did not want TO be separte for this much time finally i am doing because that s the only way to leave with my familly happy !!!

So you referring to the B2 visa?

I have a greencard (DV2012), I just got a job offer in California. The want me to start in 3 months.

However, my fiancee (we are not married) has no visa and our daughter got a greencard through me.

Problem is we are happy to get married so I can sponsor her for a greencard but then we will have to wait (almost 2 years at present time) for the entire process.

She has a good professional experience. However no mean for her to be sent to the US for a job at her present company, and H1B would require a job offer that she does not have yet, and would be difficult to have in the next weeks, before I accept my job offer.

Now we see 2 options, either B2 (but we know it might be difficult if not impossible) or E2, however we don't see as a real option, now, as it would mean to move in the US, take care of our little one, new school, etc... and on top of that create or run a business. ESTA could be possible but not feasible as she could stay 90 days max, but only twice a year...

The only thing we want, is to move, accept the job in the US only if we can move only the 3 of us in a reasonable time frame.

What would be our best option?
