The fact only one regular December filer has received fingerprinting notice is quite unsettling. I used to think the biometric letter should arrive within 10 days following the NOA, doesn't look like it...

Just received NOA in the mail.

I haven't received a biometrics appointment yet; from what I read in my German-US citizenship group on FB it takes about a month to get fingerprinted (from the time you sent your N400). The holidays might delay everything a bit, I assume...
Thanks a lot for the info. Since the FP notice is normally at least 1 week ahead of the scheduled FP date, should I assume the FP notice arrives about 3 weeks after you sent the N400? The reason I'm so fixated on this is I have to travel internationally on Jan 9, once i have the notice I can do a walk-in; but if it takes a month to receive the notice I'm screwed...

I wonder why our template doesn't have a column showing the date fingerprinting notice was received. Does anyone happen to know how long this takes? Should I assume none of our early December filers has received it? Thanks!

check cashed today.

Moments ago received the G-1145 notification, case has been accepted. Check hasn't been cashed yet and still waiting for the official NOA.

If that's the case I'd be so screwed. Just sent out my package with the first box checked without indicating early filing whatsoever. Please, someone answer this question.
Hello everyone,
I am a new comer here and I will be a December filer. I will be eligible to apply after Dec 25th.
I have a quick question: on part 1 of the N400, my friends advised me to check "other", and write in the explanation that I am an early filer based on Permanent residency for 5 yrs, Is that correct?
Please advise, Thanks!

Just sent my N-400 to Lewisville, TX via UPS, cost me $36, ouch! GC since 3/11/10 (so hopefully USCIS doesn't receive the package today, and yes, I'm cutting it pretty close).

I'm in exactly the same boat here. Have to travel internationally right after the New Year and I'm dying to see the notice. problem is, at least according to folks of this forum, you can't do a walk-in without the actual notice in your hand. So PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE let us know how it went. Thanks!
