I believe you should make an infopass appointment and get a stamp in your passport that extends it for another year.

Make an infopass appointment at you local USCIS office to get an I551 stamp in the passport which will extend (act like) the letter for another year

HEY! Thank you so much for your reply! we have a CR1 visa. And i think it is the tax returns for 2014 because i didnt send those in because I have not finished with them yet.. Should I finish them and send them in?? And then if I do that, do I need to change my i-864 for the 2014 taxes?
