    N-400 May-2018 Filers

Same office as you, the one on Prairie St. I was there a few months back to get my I-551 stamp and the officer said that we should be all done with our N-400 by the end of summer.

    N-400 May-2018 Filers

Each field office has their own timeline, it all depends on where you live and how many cases they have to deal with. I am in the same stage of the process, waiting for the interview to be scheduled at San Fernando Valley Office in California. There is nothing you can do but wait
  4. Hi  Nelya 94, please see below my case is very similar to yours.

I have applied for N400 Citizenship application. I am a Green card holder for over 5 years now. My Priority date is May 26th, 2018. My biometrics was reviewed back in June 2018. Since then there hasn't been any update. I have opened 3 separate investigations with USCIS but I keep getting this automated response noted below.  Can someone please let me know how soon I can expect an interview as this process seems painfully slow? Also it shows online that estimated completion time is 2 month.

"Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office. "

  5. Sure - I just changed the filing date to 2017 instead of 2018 so my request goes through

    N-400 May-2018 Filers

Filed N400 May 24th 2018, San Fernando Valley office in Calfornia. Did fingerprints in June 2018. Still no updates, nothing.
  7. what is the usual processing time of the office that processes your N400? They will follow that timeline now for the combo interview
  8. I filed through San Fernando Valley, CA. My case is also still within the processing times, for some reason it let me do the request online anyway.
  9. I did the same, got the following reply via email "Recently, you contacted us about the status of your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, filed on May 22, 2017. On May 23, 2018, you also filed a Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Our records indicate that your Form I-751 and Form N-400 are currently pending and will be adjudicated at the same time." I also did a case request for my N400 and the email said that it's pending scheduling an interview.
  10. Every time I see you post something I hope for good news, as our timelines and location are identical LOL Since his case is outside processing times now, maybe try calling USCIS and ask to speak to Tier 2 officer to file a "service request" to look up what's causing the delay. Fingers crossed it creates some movement and the SFV office finally schedules his combo interview!
  11. Just checked the processing times for I-751 at CSC, it says May 1st! So within the next few weeks, we will be able to file a former "outside of processing times" service request if we still don't hear back.
  12. Call USCIS and they connect you with a scheduling team at SFV office
  13. I filed N-400 in late May 2018. My stamp expires in March, so I will be calling USCIS in a few weeks to make an appointment. It’s pretty easy and they call you back with a time and a date within a few business days.
  14. Received the following update after I inquired through my congressman’s office! “Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter. A review confirms your constituent’s Form I-751 application is currently pending alongside their Form N-400 application and will be processed simultaneously by their local field office at the time of the N-400 interview. Their Form N-400 application is currently awaiting interview scheduling by the San Fernando Valley Field Office. Although the A-File is still physically located at the National Benefits Center (NBC), the scheduling of your constituent's interview is within the jurisdiction of the field office. Once the field office schedules this case for an interview, your constituent will receive an interview notice stating the date and time to appear for the scheduled interview. Once the interview is scheduled, the NBC will then forward the file to the field office. Processing time information for the San Fernando Valley Field Office can be found on our website on the USCIS Processing Time Information page. We hope the information provided is helpful. If we may be of assistance in the future, please let us know.” Fingers crossed I get an interview notice soon!! my due date is coming up and I am scared to miss the interview lol
