Bjorn&lyne got a reaction from rich rich in I-129F A-number and naturalization number
Nope! You do NOT need to fill out that number on the I-129 form. I am naturalized US citizen too and never filled that out, just left it blank. My fiancee K1 was approved with no problem. You do need to submit copy of your naturalization certificate though, as evidence of citizenship so you do need that for sure. Someone can scan it for you and email you, if you cannot access certificate due to far away, so one way or another you do need a copy of the naturalization certificate, but you do not need to fill out the Alien registration number on the I-129f form.

It means someone at the embassy went through the case and sorted out that you are a K-1 fiancee applicant and not a spousal applicant, which is a good sign. You can probably expected another update pretty soon.

I told her to call the USCIS and check on her Green Card to verify if it is a mistake or not so it does not cause problems for a future Naturalization application.

I met my filippina wife on the Cebuana website, very similar to filipino cupid. In my initial letter to the USCIS I sent them the requirement for IMBRA and specifically stated how cebana is excluded from IMBRA. I specifically used the one requirement is below to make my case successfully, quoted from the USCIS.
. Entities that provide dating services if the principal business is not to provide international dating services between United States citizens or United States residents and foreign nationals, and that charges comparable rates and offers comparable services to all individuals served regardless of their gender or country of citizenship. I cited above requirement from the USCIS website and added a statement that cebuana is therefore NOT an international marriage broker because cebuana offers the very same services to all countries and is not exclusive for the United States. I also added a statement that cebuana also offers same services and rates to all individuals served regardless of gender or country of citizenship. Again, I stated that cebuana is not included in IMBRA due to those reasons. I finally added that cebuanas principal business is not to provide services between United States residents and foreign nationals as cebuana provides services to all countries on an equal basis, and is not specifically targeting United States residents. USCIS seemed OK with that as we got the I-129 approved with no problems very quickly.

Nope, it applies to both men and women. There is nothing I have read that says it only applies to USA men. Therefore, it applies to both men and women equally. Do not go by what feminists say. They are upset because some USA men choose to look for foreign women.

Realistically, only people from the Philippines filing in January can likely schedule a wedding for August and expect to get the visa before that. Philippine cases are expedited, even at the TSC while other countries are much slower.

As soon as you receive the case number from the NVC you can schedule interview and do medical.

Realistically, unless you are from the Philippines, an August wedding seems pretty unreasonably, unfortunately. Only Filipinos (maybe one or two other countries, but no the Netherlands) are able to get their K1 visa within the time frame you are looking at for your wedding, due to Philippines currently being expedited. Most other countries take much longer than what your wedding time frame is. You probably want to rethink wedding plans and keep those flexible with no commitments as far as dates or money until you receive the NOA2, which is when you can start solidifying wedding plans.

My philosophy is that you are always better off to have docs readily available than not at all. Likely you might not have to show it, BUT if they happen to ask for it, she can pull it up. So, despite the circumstances you just said, email her a scanned copy to bring, just in case... She is better off having it and not have to show it, than NOT having it but asked for it at the interview... If not sure if it will rain or not, bring umbrella just in case, sort of thing... I presume you already sent her a letter written by your current employer specifying current salary, position, etc?...

You also need another medical in the US, form I-693. That has some fees to. Since you will enter on K1 you do not need another new medical, but you need to ensure vaccinations are all good and the form signed by USCIS Civil Surgeon, which has costs to it. Assuming you only need a couple of vaccinations at the most, I was quoted costs of less than hundred dollars at the most for completion of paperwork and signature by civil surgeon. Check with a USCIS approved civil surgeon what price range is to complete form and signature. Dont forget cost of wedding... That might be the largest cost of all...

Bjorn&lyne got a reaction from misshoelk in Administrative Processing but the Consul said the visa is approved during my interview
My fiancee was not asked for the I-134 either at the interview, nor did she submit it after the interview, yet she was also approved, and is now in the visa "Issued" stage. It appears there is no consistency in the process, but that each case is different depending on who the embassy officer is. I presume that if they need the 134 from you they would ask for it at the interview, or at least give you a 221g at some point, which you apparently never received. Since you are Approved, I see no reason you need to submit anything, just wait for the next status change online. Still, have the 134 ready should they come back and ask for it during the Administrative Process stage. From what I understand, most, if not all, Philippine cases go through the AP process, like a standard procedure.

You will have to submit a divorce decree to prove that the marriage has formally ended, including official date of divorce. If you do not provided that there is a good chance your case is denied since the USCIS will not have evidence that the marriage has formally ended. Most countries, if not all, provide such certificates through the government so I wonder why that cannot be obtained, and what country does not keep such. I also wonder why fiancee does not even remember date and year of divorce as such is pretty significant information. I agree with many other posts, something does not feel right about this, but ultimately the USCIS will need such divorce decree or certificate, so if that cannot be produces, it will become a legal problem for you that you might not be able to overcome.

Not an issue, we put Newark Airport in NJ as my wife's POE because that is the airport I most frequent when I travel. However, I got a better deal on a flight from Manila into JFK Airport in New York City and she crossed POE there with no issues.

K1/K3 have to fall in line like all others.
As typical in the Philippines, people love to fall in line. If your appointment is at 7 am ,I see no reason to show up earlier than 30 minutes, If you are staying close like walking distance I would show up about 15 minutes before 7.
Be aware there are a lot of scammers outside the US Embassy trying to sell ballpens or offering to hold your electronic gadgets for a 100 peso. Once you exit they will be long gone.

There are more Fil-Am marriages than many other countries so it will look like more have issues. You gotta go by the fraction; what % are fraudulent, not the total count.

I have read numerous stories about Russian women causing visa issues. While I am not saying Russian women in general cause visa problems, it appears that Russians are overrepresented in this based on what I have read and heard. I also have a couple of Western friends living in Russia telling me flat out for Western men to stay away from Russian women cause the issues it causes with visas such as this but also such as visa scams. My friends in Russia tell me many Russian women are international gold diggers, something you also read about online again and again. You may very well have encountered a gold digger who enjoyed life in the "fast lane" with you but now moved on to the next one. A woman who all of a sudden chooses work over the relationship having the K1 process almost completed tells me there is something fundamentally wrong with this picture. I would recommend you formally contacting the embassy to cancel this so it does not haunt you later if you choose to apply again.

You are speaking with Bjorn, and I agree, women from many other nationalities "can love more unselfishly than american women", and more than Western women i general. That is a reason many Western men seek relationships with non-Western women, especially divorced men who have experience the lack of true, unselfish love from Western women.

I agree with the above. Other than the necessary travel expenses, I don't think I spent more than $1000 on my now wife over several years of courtship. There was no need for trips, vacations, pay for this or that. Just building a strong foundation for a great relationship. Married 5 years and counting.
