You met more than 2 years ago?  The requirement is that you have to have met no later than 2 years before submitting the K-1.

Can someone please please update my "row". I recieved my card yesterday 5/14/2018. Whooohoooo!

UPDATE: Just spoke to a tier 2 officer who looked it over. Even she was very confused as to why we got an RFE and said she will send in a request for us as to why we needed one. She even said our joint sponsor makes way over the povery line requirement and shouldn't have gotten an RFE.  

I would be concerned that if the lying to the government to get food stamp benefits,  USCIS could be unsure if you are lying to them too. 
 
If you make enough money to sponsor someone yourself why are you taking advantage if government assistance??

Finally got my 10 yr greencard on Saturday. Filed Nov 18 2016. Done with USCIS!

Just wanted to update you on my situation.
 
Took the Oath of Allegiance yesterday and became a US citizen. Also got my passport right away at the Miami Passport Agency as I'm traveling internationally tomorrow (I actually had a flight yesterday afternoon but the passport was not issued in time for that).
 
The funny thing I wanted to share is that as soon as I left the passport office, I also received an unrelated text message that my permanent green card was mailed to me. So the timeline from approval to mailed was less than 3 weeks (April 24 / May 11). This is for all of you that have not applied for citizenship but were approved for the ROC and have not received your card. Things seem to be moving.

Sounds fishy from their angle.   Good luck.   I would come up with some strong evidence to show that you are still financially interlinked.

My NOA is 11/14/2016 (WAC17046) and received a case update this morning 5/7 that my card was being produced. (I didn't apply for N400, my case was sent to the local office on March 4th).

Haha thanks!  I was worried whoever read my case would be confused.... but now I'm less concerned now that my I-751 has been pending what feels like FOREVER lol!

But doesn't the GC expire on the two year anniversary anyway?

After waititng a longggggggggg time, i just recived a RFE, my NOA is nov 10!!

I'm on exact same boat as you. NOA1 11/09 and still waiting... Some other early Novembers filers like Michelle13 are waiting too. I will add you in the table.

Approval of Green card, NOA Date Nov. 17, 2016!!! Woohoo! now on to N-400 and citizenship for my wife! Thanks to all for the support! Hopefully more to come!

Catholic girl here. First of all, the statement that Catholic weddings are not "legal" in the States is absolutely FALSE. What makes a marriage LEGAL is a marriage license which can be used in a Catholic wedding. According to federal law, marriages performed within the US MUST have a valid marriage license prior to the wedding ceremony, regardless of where it is held or if it is a religious or secular ceremony. A Catholic priest has the legal authority to perform valid marriages according to US laws... as does a judge, a rabbi, a Hindu priest, a pastor, etc. From what you stated, it would seem like a judge would have to perform the legal marriage and a priest would do a religious ceremony. Simply not the case. 
 
And as everyone else stated, a wedding is a wedding is a wedding. Doesn't matter if it is a secular ceremony, a church wedding, or whatever. Fancy, simple, big or small. Simply put, you would be married which could cause a lot of issues down the road. 
 
Get a new lawyer, too. 
P.S. If you would like some advice from someone who did a Catholic wedding on a K1, I'm more than happy to give some suggestions. 

Many have been  denied for doing just that. If you hired that lawyer I would fire him. 

My advise: dont do anything like that if you do K1. I see many members on this group just do a small ceremony and got denied at the interview. So,it a big no and  you can do it after married.

Doesnt matter.  Intent and ability to marry is what is important. 

ok, just an update, I woke up today to the "We approved your case" on the i751.

Did anybody elses change? With all the changes happening lately I'm too scared to celebrate yet. Does anybody have any experience that when the status changes to this they received their card within a few days? (P.s. I did not file for N400 yet.)

CSC is all over the place, but yes, they are indeed approving plenty of November 2016 filers. There's a lot of us!
