Unfortunately here really isn't much you can do about AP except wait. Inshallah you'll get your visa soon. There was someone else who was put in AP today (k-1 visa too). I've been noticing latey that people who were interviewed for CR1/IR1 visas (male or female) have been getting approved without AP.
Maybe it's a k-1 thing? Doubt it but never know anymore with the embassy in Islamabad.

My fiance's ARN was changed 7 days after we received the NOA1 and we are still waiting. A while back it used to be a sign of things to come, but it isn't like that now. Many filers have their fiance's ARN changed soon after their NOA1 is received. Some others have it changed twice - right after NOA1 then again around approval time. I wouldn't put too much weight on the change, just consider it a 'touch' and that some sort of progress has happened. Good luck!

My interview is on the 18th of this month and I picked my appointment personally from shaheed complex karachi and I guess I'll have to pick my passport after visa issuance from the same place.
