I am just now awaiting my Oath Ceremony. All went smoothly and was more simple than anticipated. The interviewer tries to trip me up, i just corrected him, he was really nice and just asked questions that were already written.
 
Altogether A+ And i am really glad to have it almost over with.

Just as an update here: My interview is scheduled in Fairfax for the 11th of Feb. I filled online in July i think.

Your green cards do not seem to be processed in order based on the code. I suspect they are given to agents who handle them based on the month, and they work on cases randomly for that month. I have had people 2 months after me be approved. Also, it may depend on the complexity of your case and how well organized your evidence is and history you have. I finally got approved and my card is expected Monday. Nobody can really tell.

I agree with you. The point I'm making it isn't that bad. I remember being advised against at the time. They didn't question me much and even carried some documents with me for ties home and a pending app for my 129f

I have no idea what to expect now. I feel like we are being told not to bother with this process.

I just filled yesterday. I had 13lb 15oz of paperwork. I remember you from the k1 process how is America treating you?

USPS doesn't hire conditional residents. It is in their policy manual last I checked. They hire permanent residents.

Overall, there are no right or wrong answers. Just answer the question to the best of your ability. If you don't know something, just say "I don't know, because"... It really is as simple as being asked your age.

Most people have nothing to worry about. The interview is standard, meaning that questions are simple. "how do you know each other, how did you meet, what's your partners birthday." These are just simple relationship questions. They mostly just asked me how my wife supported herself with such a big family before I was issued a Visa and I answered. Most people worry, it's normal, but it is surprising relaxing and simple.

With regards to people commenting on different scoring models. Obviously, each scoring model is different and has different criteria for each company. However, looking through the major three companies (Experian, Trans-union and Exquifax) shows very similar scores. Credit Karma uses vantage 3 (whatever that is), and my bank and credit cards use FICO, but between the 3 major agencies there's less than a 10 point difference. Not all creditors report to all agencies and not all at the same time. This is a major cause for fluctuation in numbers. I have found them to be very similar in scoring based on my lifestyle choices. So, I do have defend free based tracking for this reason. Obviously, if you want a mortgage, go to a bank.

I did it with a secured card and checking account (checking account was required, but doesn't build a score). Six months later I had a clear established score and went unsecured with a different company and kept my secure card too. After about a year and a few cards (all paid on time), my score hit 750. You can check using credit karma, it is free and they even have an app.
