  1. Hey, I had my interview which was approved as I left on the 11th of February for my N400. The officer has mentioned it shouldn't be to long until my Oath will be scheduled. It's currently 2 and half months since my interview and I heard nothing so far. I am seeing people within a couple of weeks being scheduled. What could possibly be the delay and can I do something to get information on where I stand? Sorry i know i am being impatient, but it's the end of the road almost.

  2. I am just now awaiting my Oath Ceremony. All went smoothly and was more simple than anticipated. The interviewer tries to trip me up, i just corrected him, he was really nice and just asked questions that were already written.

Altogether A+ And i am really glad to have it almost over with.

I also want to thank Visa Journey for all the information provided, and all the community users online. This community has made it so simple to get through the process and the guides and help are wonderful (all the way from K1 too n400) Thank you for everything! I never once had to hire anyone or a lawyer.

P.S. If there is a way to donate to the site, I would like to make a contribution. If somebody could point me in the right direction?

Yes you have to take all support documents, if you are married and file under 3 years rules specially but 5 years rules not much , when is your interview ? let us knows

    Good luck

I filled under the 3 year rule. The letter just states to bring a marriage certificate green card state issued id and proof of my wife's citizenship. I have all this, but do i need to print and take all supporting documents? Like bank statements, tax returns, receipts and pretty much everything i submitted online?

All that extra stuff i don't have, but can obtain and is time consuming. My interview is on the 11th

  4. 1. My letter states i need proof of selective service registration. I never registered as i was over the age of 26 when entering the states on my k1. Do i need something? I assume not.

    2. Some places offer the oath ceremony at the time of the interview. How do i find out if the place i am attending offers this service?

    3. I uploaded my application online. The n400 states i should retain and bring all submitted documents to the interview with me. My interview letter suggests a small number of documents to bring. Do i really need to print and find all those submitted documents for my interview?

    4. My interview letter states i need to bring my passport and or any other documents for entries i to the usa. Would i need my old flight tickets, k1 visa information, my old esta and such? Or would my passport just be suffice?

5.My parents want to attend the oath ceremony with me as my wife does too, is this possible?

  5. Your green cards do not seem to be processed in order based on the code. I suspect they are given to agents who handle them based on the month, and they work on cases randomly for that month. I have had people 2 months after me be approved. Also, it may depend on the complexity of your case and how well organized your evidence is and history you have. I finally got approved and my card is expected Monday. Nobody can really tell.
