I just received a notice that my Oath Ceremony is scheduled
-
Hey, I had my interview which was approved as I left on the 11th of February for my N400. The officer has mentioned it shouldn't be to long until my Oath will be scheduled. It's currently 2 and half months since my interview and I heard nothing so far. I am seeing people within a couple of weeks being scheduled. What could possibly be the delay and can I do something to get information on where I stand? Sorry i know i am being impatient, but it's the end of the road almost.
-
How long are you or people waiting for their letter to be scheduled? My understanding it is 30 days from the point of an approved interview. I have been waiting 5 weeks with no change in status.

How long have people been waiting for their oath since an approved interview? Or does that vary depending the district?
-
Pretty much, but it was casual. Then he went though my application i signed some stuff and he told me it was being recommended to be approved. really simple process

I got approved yesterday

He tried using my birth name and asked a question along with it. I just corrected him right away. He did the same with my wifes information too that was right there on his screen. Throwing the wrong info out at me?

I am just now awaiting my Oath Ceremony. All went smoothly and was more simple than anticipated. The interviewer tries to trip me up, i just corrected him, he was really nice and just asked questions that were already written.
Altogether A+ And i am really glad to have it almost over with.
I also want to thank Visa Journey for all the information provided, and all the community users online. This community has made it so simple to get through the process and the guides and help are wonderful (all the way from K1 too n400) Thank you for everything! I never once had to hire anyone or a lawyer.
P.S. If there is a way to donate to the site, I would like to make a contribution. If somebody could point me in the right direction?

Does anyone know if registering on the department of corrections website for visitation could potentially throw up any red flags during a pending n400 application? My interview is
scheduled Feb 11th. I want to go visit a friend in prison.

Yes you have to take all support documents, if you are married and file under 3 years rules specially but 5 years rules not much , when is your interview ? let us knows
Good luck
I filled under the 3 year rule. The letter just states to bring a marriage certificate green card state issued id and proof of my wife's citizenship. I have all this, but do i need to print and take all supporting documents? Like bank statements, tax returns, receipts and pretty much everything i submitted online?
All that extra stuff i don't have, but can obtain and is time consuming. My interview is on the 11th

Do I need to take my entire package of evidence with me to the interview? The interview letter doesn't say too, but speaking to people they say you do.

Just as an update here: My interview is scheduled in Fairfax for the 11th of Feb. I filled online in July i think.

1. My letter states i need proof of selective service registration. I never registered as i was over the age of 26 when entering the states on my k1. Do i need something? I assume not.
2. Some places offer the oath ceremony at the time of the interview. How do i find out if the place i am attending offers this service?
3. I uploaded my application online. The n400 states i should retain and bring all submitted documents to the interview with me. My interview letter suggests a small number of documents to bring. Do i really need to print and find all those submitted documents for my interview?
4. My interview letter states i need to bring my passport and or any other documents for entries i to the usa. Would i need my old flight tickets, k1 visa information, my old esta and such? Or would my passport just be suffice?
5.My parents want to attend the oath ceremony with me as my wife does too, is this possible?

I just got my card
-
Your green cards do not seem to be processed in order based on the code. I suspect they are given to agents who handle them based on the month, and they work on cases randomly for that month. I have had people 2 months after me be approved. Also, it may depend on the complexity of your case and how well organized your evidence is and history you have. I finally got approved and my card is expected Monday. Nobody can really tell.

I also applied for my N400 alongside ROC, but it did not seem to make any difference regarding my approval. It did not speed up nor slow it down. I assumed that I would be having an interview together as a dual interview, but that was not the case.

Hallo guys
my case starts with EAC17291
any idea ? When might be an approval
There is no way of telling, other than it being soon

Well, it does seem they are working on mixed months. The 276 range is mostly completed, but the 290 range has 38 cases approved, so it is variable. I am in the 290 range and they seem to be processing 4-5 per day.

It seems as if Vermont is doing 4-5 cases per day in my ticket number range. E.g: 001,002,003 so on.

I received my 18 month extension letter today. I am VSC filer. My timeline is public. Also, have a pending n400 with biometrics next week

Sent n400 in and received notification that biometrics was scheduled and still awaiting i751...

Is there a way to track your passport application? I have applied for a passport and card and also sent my naturalization certificate. They say i will receive 3 separate letters or mails. Where do i track this info or obtain tracking numbers?
