Hi guys,
short update: I had my interview yesterday and they said approved.
Although the CEAC status updated date changed (yesterday and today again) it is still "Ready" with the "before Interview" text.
I hope that doesn´t mean anything bad or will delay the visa being issued.

we got approved by the NVC on May 13th, 2015. We are going to have our interview in Frankfurt, Germany.
do you know how long does it take for the interview to be scheduled after the CC?
P.S: can I do the medical exam before getting the interview scheduled?

Hi, I did DCF through Frankfurt so all my paperwork was submitted before the interview, but on the day the CO only asked me what our wedding date was and how we met. I don't think you will have any problems with what you have. My husband and I had only been living together for one year when we started the process and we didn't submit ANY chat or phone logs from before we lived together and when he was deployed (we are military), we didn't get an RFE and we weren't asked for any of that stuff at the interview, although we were told that providing a joint lease/mortgage can be a big help.
Everyone at Frankfurt is really friendly and efficient, I was there about 90 minutes from start to finish and my passport was back with me within three days.

I think you are all good, all those snapchats and facebook stuffs are easy to counterfeit, it might colorize your package but to be very helpful, I don't think so.

no they did not ask for 2014 taxes as we sent the taxes for 2011, 12, and 2013. I think they ask for 2014 in case you sent only 2013 for example.

I am against this petition. Only unmarried minor children should be derivatives. I don't understand why brothers and parents should have the privilege to immigrate to the US, and certainly that is not family reunion. There would be no family break up if the initial immigrant had not left home to begin with.

I think her senator put in congressional(?) inquiry on her behalf WHICH does make a difference. My advice is to take cue and do the same.

Spoke to a nice NVC rep named Todd, he was kinda shocked/perplexed that our case had not been reviewed and then had to manually request that it be sent to his supervisor. I heard him typing it up on his keyboard.
I really wish I could have a tour of the NVC. He said it "shouldn't take too long but allow at least a week. It takes 2-3 days after she (supervisor) requests the transfer to get to her desk." The last part didn't really make sense to me but I guess if my file was just neglected I should be happy that it is going to move somewhere. Someone is going to touch it finally. Will continue praying for a favorable outcome. Glad I got Todd as my rep today he was helpful and took initiative. Grateful for that.

Hello all, sorry I've been away for a day or so. I've been arranging my medical examination etc. I have a lot of planning to do!
Although I'm happy that our case is now complete, I am becoming increasingly concerned to see that some user's cases continue to be overlooked. I think as a group we need to do something in order to have this issue resolved for these users and make the process fair for everyone.
I have written a draft letter below to be sent to state reps for those still awaiting case completes with earlier scan dates. If users with later scan dates and case completes are willing to share their case numbers with those still outstanding, we will be able to prove that some applicants are not being treated in the same manner as others.

If you have a case complete and want to help - PLEASE PM THOSE THAT WANT TO USE THE LETTER WITH YOUR CASE NUMBER ONLY. By only using the case number, you share no personal or private information.
It may or may not help you, but I figure it's worth a shot, and it might even effect some change with how they're processing applicants unfairly at the moment. Here's the letter - good luck to you all;

We have cause for concern in relation to the review of our submitted documents as we feel we are not being treated in the same expedient manner that has been extended to other applicants. We submitted our documents for review on [insert date here], yet we are aware of numerous other cases that have been reviewed and approved despite having sent in their documents at a later date. We have reached out to these applicants via an online forum who have given their respective permission to share their case numbers with us in order to support our concerns. These are;
We have contacted the National Visa Center in relation to this issue who have confirmed that they process their workload on a first-in, first out basis. When we have asked why this principle has not been applied to our case, or suggested that our case may have been overlooked, we have either not been offered an adequate explanation, or have been told that those that have submitted documents at a later date than us are lying. We have also not been given a definite timescale as to when this will be resolved.
My spouse and I would greatly appreciate if you could inquire on the current status of our case on our behalf, and seek an explanation as to why our case has not been reviewed in an expedient, fair manner.

I called last night and got a pretty nice rep, can't remember his name. I asked if he could tell me what dates they are working on or when I should expect to hear back and he said next week.
I asked if they process first in first out and he said yes. I asked why there are people a month after my scan date getting reviewed and he said "it is hard to compare cases like that". While the answer didn't bring much clarity I appreciated that he didn't lie or call all the VJ-ers liars haha.
Nothing to do but continue and wait....good luck young_love_WA!

I know there are few others like myself with January dates (paper filers) who have been active on here and have not been reviewed: Young_Love_WA , visausa90 , you guess . Likely just on a slower reviewers desk, but I don't even try to understand the discrepancies or methods at NVC anymore.

Hello guys
My scan date is January 5th and still haven't heard anything from NVC!! Really worried and wondering why its taking that long!
Calling NVC everyday just to hear "you should hear something soon sir!", like really I am just getting too frustrated with them now.
I also spoke to one of the supervisor from NVC who assured that she will follow up and get back to me at the earliest and now its over two weeks no news!
Please guys help, what do you think i can do so that i hear something from them!!

I just got off the phone with rep Carla and she says same old story of weather in Feb, they are behind, it will take longer than 60 days. Hope you have better news
