Hold up... three years?
If you had been legally married for two years or more at the time your permanent residency was approved, it should have been IR-1 ( a ten year card), and not CR-1 (a 2 year card) and you should not have had to file an I-751 to remove conditions in the first place....making this whole thing largely a moo point.
 
What exactly does your permanent resident card say under category? And does it have an expiry date of two years after the ‘resident from’ date? 
Either something is missing in this story, or USCIS made a mistake issuing you CR-1 instead of IR-1 (which does happen from time to time and is easily correctable). 

I’m not sure if anyone has posted what the ceremony is like now so I will.
 
It was about 40 people total. He was in and out in about 20 minutes. They took the oath and got their certificates and that was it.

My husband’s oath was originally scheduled for April 1, but now it’s tomorrow! Wooohoo! 

April 1 oath ceremony was cancelled. I found it, like others did, in the Documents tab on myuscis.

My husband just had his interview and was recommended for approval! If I’m reading this thread right, there is 1 oath ceremony per month in Houston? Does anyone know what time of day it is? I want to attend if work permits. 

How does Trump's proclamation affect you?   His proclamation affects travel INTO the US....and it does not affect US citizens....Has UK stopped visitors from the US?

Yes, I said I, PERSONALLY, would wait a few days after...that is MY preference.......I never said mailing on the date the window opens is an issue.......
 
The point is that USCIS must not receive the package before the 90 day window opens.....

There have been numerous cases posted where people have mailed their I-751 a few days before the 90 day window opened......and their packages were rejected.......waiting until after the 90 day window opens makes little difference in the processing time.

I think you are giving this more thought than most. It doesn't look like you have anything to worry about. The fact that you are stressing so much about making sure suggests you probably haven't misrepresented yourselves in any way.  

I say go for it.  Fill out the application.  Make sure that you pay close attention to the filing requirements based on marriage if you are going with the three year rule - don't file too early and give a day or two after your 90 day window if you are taking advantage of early filing.  Wishing you the best. I don't see anything to worry about. Just answer the questions honestly on the application, submit the supporting evidence as required and wait for your interview

Did you check “married” knowing it would increase your chance of getting a F1 visa? You aren’t the first. Unfortunately you misrepresented yourself for an immigration benefit and yes. It is in writing and you will be asked about that when you file for a K1 or CR1 visa. 

An interesting development I have to say considering you previously posted about marking yourself as married on the F1 visa application form and wanted to know if it could be termed a misrepresentation.  I have to say it is highly unusual for someone to think they might have made such a “careless mistake”. Wondering what triggered this line of thinking?

I wouldn’t say “very common,” and particularly not in the context of marriage-based immigration.

Either she immigrates and maintains her permanent residence in the US, or she visits.
I don't think you've investigated exactly how hard it is to get a tourist visa to the US from a VWP country. Being able to use the VWP is a major privilege that makes visiting much easier. Trying to get more can easily result in not being able to visit at all.

The short version is that you can't have it both ways.  She has one of two options. The first is to immigrate and live in the US. The second is to stay in Germany and visit the US from time to time as a non-immigrant (either 90-day VWP/ESTA or tourist visa).
 
It sounds like sticking with VWP/ESTA and planning around that seems like the least complicated route, if the plan is to live in Germany.

If you really want to move to Germany and do not have any intention to move to the US, for her to become a US citizen is not the solution to your travel "problem".
 
For her to become a US Citizen, you would have to petition for her, she would have to move to the US and live there for 3 years until she could naturalize (apply for US Citizenship). Then you'd have to wait until the naturalization process is over. To sum it up:
 
Once you're married in September:
You have to move to the US (without your wife) Go through the Spousal visa process which takes approx. 1-1.5 years Wait 3 years to start the naturalization process which takes probably another year (they're currently working on July 19 forms if I saw correctly).  So you'd basically be looking at last at 5 year process from today for her to become a US Citizen going the CR1/IR1 route.
 
Before you're married (if you were to start the process now):
You have to move to the US (without your fiancée) Petition for her --> K1 process (approx. 8-10 months), she awaits the approval in Germany. Get married in the US within 90 days  Adjust status --> AOS process (approx. 1 year, don'^t know the exact timeline) but she can't work, study, or leave the US for approx. 6 months until she recieves AP/EAD  Wait 3 years to start the naturalization process which takes probably another year (they're currently working on July 19 forms if I saw correctly).  So you'd basically be looking at a process with at least a 5 year duration for her to become a US Citizen on the K1 fiancée route as well.
 
Please note that either way, she can't leave the US (when having a greencard) for more than 6 months per year or it is considered that she abandoned her LPR status and she looses her greencard.
 
If you really just want to travel, stick with the ESTA  and don't overstay the 90 days limit. Moving to Germany doesn't require you guys to be able to spend more than 30 days there to prep the move - especially if she is German and knows how things work there.
 
Applying for a visitor visa as a spouse of a US Citizen would mean she'd have to show strong ties to Germany.
Considering y'all wanting to travel up to 6 months at the time: I assume she probably doesn't have the required strong ties such as a job and appartment (assuming since people usually can't leave their job for 6 months at the time over and over again and not many people would actually pay for a house/appartment and not live in it for this long)? So that could raise red flags (immigrant intent) to the consular officer and the visitor visa would most likely be denied. 

If the travel visa would be denied, she'd have to update her ESTA question "Were you ever refused a US visa?" to "yes", which would then probably result in a refusal of the ESTA as well (as mentioned by others), which would make it impossible for her to travel to the US.
 
So in regards to travel to the US, basically you guys need to figure out where you want to establish your life together in the future:
 
Live together in the US:
- Since you're not married yet, you'd have to go one of the above described processes (K1 or CR1/IR1). She has to be in Germany for the duration of processing of either of these visas, but can travel to the US on her ESTA (90 days limit) during this time. 
 
Live together in Germany:
Travel back on forth on the ESTA within the 90 days limit.

A refused B leads to the need to update ESTA which may then result in a refusal, usually temporary.
It is the other way around, why would she be approved.

Do not be greedy, use the VWP.  A B refusal would seriously complicate matters.

"Willing to go thru this process with you....not a ghost?" Seems like micro aggression to me. I would be worried too but ultimately, if you haven't done anything wrong, they can only torture you with the wait. In a few more weeks, reach out to your congress person and get them involved if an InfoPass appointment doesn't yield any information.

Great! I just started a new job so I don’t really want to take off if I don’t have to. I’ll save my time off for the oath ceremony. Can’t believe this whole immigration thing is almost over for us (fingers crossed). What a journey it’s been. We could not have done with without this community. 

The numbers for 1st Quarter FY 2019 clearly show that Removal of Conditions is wasted effort.....I think we should start a campaign to eliminate it completely......

Just logged into my USCIS account...My case got approved on April 25th. Woohoo! I wonder why I never get notifications about status changes by the way... But who cares, at least it's approved 👍🤪

Happy people do not come to post in "Effects of immigration on life changes" Also what is posted here are often somewhat one sided stories, often not very comprehensive. Many of the unhappy ones actually do admit it was bona fide marriage. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying there are no such cases at all, it just that there isn't amount significant enough to justify the hassle of RoC hoops. 

I'm beginning to feel more and more that the whole ROC process is pointless. Think of the amount of time and energy it takes to capture that 3% of denials, who can appeal anyway so maybe some of them are legit and just botched the application or interview, versus all the other fraudulent cases running rampant out there on other types of visas. I'm also pretty sure plenty of fraudsters made it past the 2 year marriage mark just to get that 10 year GC...2 years is honestly peanuts for a marriage, it seems so arbitrary to me that they picked that number. Ranting here, sorry...it just frustrating sometimes especially when you see how low that denial rate is.
