Well I received a text for an RFE waiting for it to come in the mail. I have a sneaking suspicion it's for sponsors tax transcripts because I didn't even think to send them, I'm hoping anyway. Thanks for ur reply :-)

Ok, I might also add that he was honorably discharged with severance pay totaling one years worth of wages.

So when the time comes for our AOS Interview, He will need a job by then correct? we would then file a new affidavit with his new income at the time of the interview?

I am in a bit of a dilemma.

Just to give you some background info, I came here on a K1 Visa in December 2015, my husband and I are now married, he was in the Military up until mid January 2016. I filed AOS paperwork in January and for the Affidavit I listed my husband as being in the Marine Corps with a letter from his CO. He was Honorably Discharged from Marine Corps Mid January and is now on Unemployment until he gets a job. Now my question is, because I have already filed AOS listing his income as Military but has been since discharged, how does this affect my AOS package and interview?

Also I might add that when I filed the AOS we knew he was being discharged in a few days but still listed Marine Corps as his job.

I hope this doesn't affect the outcome of my AOS.

Can someone please shed some light as to what I could expect or should do from here!!!!!!

Filed AOS package to Chicago Lockbox Jan 29th, USPS tracking says they received my package on 2nd Feb. Have not received any e-notifications or mail. Thought I would have had something by now but looks like I will be in the long waiting line.

Sorry 7th October not November

The CEAC website says my visa was issued on 7th November, I also received an email from sydney consulate saying my visa was issued. Just wondering how long others have received their visas in hand after CEAC changed to issued.

Well I am afraid of being denied based on me not bringing in all required documents. I am missing my police check and my fiancés affadvait and supporting documents.

Has anyone successfully been able to reschedule their appointment? I need to reschedule as my fiance is having difficulty with his bank in obtaining his financials. I have emailed the consulate a few days ago and no response.

Thanks kristyandnick I justuhad a look again at the email they sent me and mine doesnt say that, I previously emailed the embassy 2 days ago regarding the police Certificate yet to receive a response.

Did you find out from the embassy about not having the police check in time for interview?

I am actually scheduled for july 20th but I will need to change my date as my police check wont be back to me in enough time

Ok I did see the ds 160 but then looking further down tne instructions it said ds 260 so I wasnt sure

I received my interview details today and sent off my australian federal police check last week, I phoned the AFP to see if they had received my application they have not, they also said that the police checks take 15-20 working days to process applications, my dilemma is my interview is in 18 working days im worried my police check will not be back in time for my interview. Should I reschedule my appointment?

Yep emailed them with my details as soon as I got the email.

August is fine actually because I dont plan on leaving till start of December to the usa.

Unfortunately my fiance is a marine and is deployed till october in the middle east so he wont be able to come along

Wow that was super fast. I received the first email on Wednesday last week regarding the profile set up, so hopefully the email containing packet 3 will be sent to me soon!!!! Yes my interview will be in sydney whenever they schedule it

How many days/weeks was it from the time u received the first email from sydney to receiving your interview details just so I can get an idea on how long till I get mine :-) your timeline isnt updated hence why im asking

I received this exact email 2 days ago, I followed the instructions per the email. Im just wondering if you have heard back from the sydney consulate yet regarding packet 3?

This was the email I received. I did pay the fee though now im considering this was a bad choice.

I have the same issue I just realised, ive managed to get in with my old account details now im just wondering if I pay the fees and If there is anything else I need to do

I received an email today from my embassy saying that I need to go on to usatraveldocs website and create a profile and email them once I have done so. Unfortunately the website is having technical difficulties and doesnt say how long it will be before the site is back up and running. Should I contact my embassy notifying them that I cannot create a profile?
