I have one question what should I do guys to inquire about my green card, I already paid fees before arriving to country two weeks ago.

My green card arrived 2-3 weeks after my arrival in the US. I never received my SSN card automatically even though I had checked the box. Had to go to an office and apply in person after 8 weeks since I was offered a job. But that might be completely different for you.

thank you for answering, still can not seem to find it, i took a print screen of what i have, can you please help, the additional evidence only  asks for

Your're right - I just double checked the online form. Normally, it can be found under the section "evidence to support your petition", but only for spouses/children and not for parents, apparently. As tsabbas said, you will most likely have to submit the passport photos at the NVC or embassy stage.

simply add a caption under the photos with your name and A-Number

OP doesn't have an A-Number yet when applying for an immigrant visa for the first time. She's talking about the passport-style photos.

@irkas94 We also filed online and it's okay if you don't have an A-Number from a previous visa yet. I would print out your individual digital photo, write your name on the back, then scan (or photograph) that and put both pictures (front and back) together in one single PDF and upload it. That's how we did it.

i would like to know when the 2 years of my conditional green card will start? Is the starting date when i send the papers? Or when i get married? Or when i actually get the green card?

The 2 years start on the day you enter the US with your CR-1 visa in your passport. A couple weeks later, you will have your green card mailed to you and it will show "resident since" and the "expiration date" depending on that specific date.

Additionally, format wise... Since I'm filing online it's a little bit different. But did anyone put pictures in a word document with a caption (Maybe 1 or 2 pics per page) and then convert to PDF and submit? Do I include iPhone time stamps for the pictures or no?

Yes, I would put the pictures in a word document, convert it to a PDF, then compress it (if necessary, but not zip it!) and upload it. Time stamps are also a bonus to document your relationship timeline.

Not correct.  Question 46 concerns whether the person is CURRENTLY in the US.  It is unlikely  a green card holder would be the beneficiary of an I-130?

    No worries!

But I double checked again. The online form doesn't exactly correspond to the paper form. In our online form, OP's first screenshot only came up when asked about prior petitions filed for/immigrant visas issued to the beneficiary (cf. "immigrant category"). If the beneficiary was currently in the US and had already entered based on a green card, why file another I-130?

On the other hand, the paper form doesn't even ask about specific details regarding prior petitions, only if anyone else had ever filed a petition for the beneficiary.

  7. I think the system broke down last year around this time as well. The embassy is just super busy in June and July since, in addition to the K-1 and spousal visas, all the student visas for high school and college exchange progams are also being issued for the new academic year starting in August. And that's a fairly huge amount!

Just wait a few days and then write an e-mail with regard to the current status, just as you mentioned above.

  8. We don't want that ! I said, we won't divorce, that means that I want her to go achieve her goals and professional plans then come back. It's not a conflictual situation between us. And we will visit each other everytime we get a chance.

Ok, good :) When you said "we can't", it sounded as if you wanted, but weren't able to for some reason. Being from Europe, I know that your wife's major is a tough one and she does need the experience. I wish you both all the best and hope everything works out in the end!
