Yes, what Chancy said. You can upload both PDF files in the additional evidence section at the end. Form I-130A doesn’t have to be signed by your wife since she’s outside of the US.

Hi! We’re in the same situation. Filed online in December. It’s easier and the online form takes you through all the steps and which documents are needed. Just create a USCIS account and submit the form whenever you’re ready.
As for processing times, it’s not faster than the paper form though.
edit: it’s easier to track your petition online.

We filed online, are both abroad, and I am a US citizen. Do you also fall into this category of cases?
Exact same situation here (I’m the beneficiary though). We got transferred from NSC to CSC without a transfer notice. I wish normal DCF still existed
-
So I tried out Emma (thank you guys for the advice!) and we got transferred to CSC without any transfer notice either
-
@Bat man Did you ever receive a transfer notice? And what exactly did you ask Emma to find it out? She's just giving me standard answers and links.

Case is actively being reviewed since February 24th at Texas Service Center. Anyone know a rough time frame from when it is actively being reviewed to getting approved?
As far as I have read in a couple of threads on here, for some people this status has been showing up for months, for others just for weeks or only days before getting approved. It's totally unpredictable/random.

You have to submit the documents for financial support (I-864) at the NVC stage after the I-130 will have been approved. This link is quite helpful to get an overview: http://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/affidavit-of-support.html
However, you should already submit any evidence that proves your relationship now together with your online petition.

and it’s highly likely she’d need proof of this registration of residency before being able to change consulates and I have no idea how long that process takes.
Luckily, that's a fairly easy and fast process in Germany. You just go to the local city hall (Rathaus) and its residents' registration office (Einwohnermeldeamt), fill out a form and prove your residency by means of a lease/owned property. Then you'll immediately get a certificate of residence. Maybe takes 15 minutes total

Case was approved with a NOA2 date of 02/23/2021. PD was 12/01/2020. I have updated my timeline. Good luck, all.
Wow! Congrats, guys! Thanks for the update and that was super fast! So happy for you and good luck on the rest of your visa journey.

You can't do anything but wait. I read in a different thread that they are processing early December receipt dates for K-1 right now.

I'm not looking at the website but "a permanent resident filing" is not a petition for a spouse visa. You're using a confusing term. What is the actual title of the table you are reading?
He's right though. This is the table showing the processing times of form I-130 for NSC.

If you would read my comment again I said 'most likely' and not 'absolutely without a doubt'. Many others hadn't had the luck you had and that is something that should be considered when you need to come back soon to wrap things up.
Oh I did, but "even if you abandoned your status here so just coming back with that won't work" made it sound as if it wasn't possible at all

That's awesome for you but not a safe bet for everybody.
Sure, but it still proves that your statement was incorrect and that it is possible, which might still be useful information to others.

Yes, I actually had to, but was approved within 24 hours or so.

VWP is most likely done for you since your data will trigger an immigration intend even if you abandoned your status here so just coming back with that won't work
Not true. I abandoned my GC, live overseas with my husband and was able to visit family in the US (together with him) under the VWP. No hassle or questions asked by CBP whatsoever.

After I submitted the application, Is it possible to upload more documents after I already submitted in a month or so?

I haven't seen how that's possible after submitting the petition.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Was there a reason that you waited the full 2 months prior to restarting the process? Is that what they suggested incase the number appears? I know the paperwork we received said to call if it had been over 3 weeks of waiting upon arriving in the states but then to receive such different information between two people in the same office was confusing. Basically we want to wait the least amount of time possible so he is able to begin working!
It's been so long, so I honestly don't remember. But I think back in 2015 you were advised to wait for 2 months until you should contact your local office.
I know it's super annoying! I needed my SSN to open up my own bank account, get a DL and start working.
-
Even long since before COVID I didn't receive my SSN card after 2 months upon arrival (had checked the box on the DS-260 form, too). We just had to go to our local office and apply for it in person since I was also offered a job. The whole process took very long (inlcuding the wait at the office) and I'd suggest your husband bring as much proof of identity as he can (passport, birth certificate, ID card, etc.). It took another 2-3 weeks to get the card in the mail, but nowadays it's different with the pandemic and snow storm, of course. Good luck!

Hi VJ members,
I'm filing I-130 for my spouse that is abroad. On Beneficiary's current marital status, I should put 'Married' right since she married to me? And on 'how many times has your beneficiary been married' , I should put 1 correct since she hasn't been married before. Just want to confirm.
Correct

If the digital one is the right one, can someone tell me if I need to have the certificate legalised?
You shouldn't post your birth certificate or any sensitive information due to possible identity theft on such a public forum 🙈

Also, they included my wife into the email. How can they know her email address? This means they are already in contact with the NVC, aren't they?
Your wife (petitioner) had to provide her email address on the I-130 form. NVC has probably already forwarded your files to the consulate. I wouldn't worry about it too much and just go ahead and schedule the medical since you're so close to finally getting your visa

Hi! Based on your timeline and profile, it looks like you're filing for AOS/EAD/AP and not for a CR-1/IR-1 visa with form I-130 though. 🤔
Should I be worried about my I-130 taking so long?

Actually, quite a bunch of petitions at Nebraska Services Center have been getting approved in 2-4 months if they didn’t get transferred elsewhere beforehand. That’s probably what OP was referring to.
