You're a USC now so it doesn't matter, for good measure you can set up an infopass appointment and drop it at your local USCIS.
  2. Thanks

Ignore everything because you are done. Only thing to look for in the mail is that US passport I assume you applied for.

Why is this so confusing?  There was a glitch the officer warned you about.  Ignore it.

Oh wow. Congrats on becoming a citizen! I don't have any advice, but I must say that as time goes on, I'm realizing more and more that USCIS is truly a gigantic mess...

The Biometrics letter took a week but the pdf copy was posted on the status page in 3 days.

I got an email from the normal status messages saying they scheduled biometrics

I went back into case status to look at all our uploads, but since filing it shows everything in "Other" category except thr Greencard which is in "Proof of Residency" category.  Again odd as they were filed under the separate areas, guess the system just bunched them post filing.

There's 14 in "other" category now
  7. Thanks

That's odd, we uploaded more than five.  Never more than five at a time though

Try logging out and back in.  There were days when we tried to upload and it was "Broken" then worked fine the next day.

PDXDD reacted to visaqueries in N 400 checklist and a few questions
We filed online and were really happy we did.  Within two days my husband received notification of his biometrics appointment.  I'm not sure if it is available to you, but I'd definitely check it out.  Because we did file online, there were several things that we didn't have to worry about (it already calculated our eligible filing date, it allowed us to upload our documents, when we filled out the application, it didn't show us the questions we didn't need to answer and it charged us  the correct amount...).

To answer your question, though, yes the date is 90 days prior to your three year anniversary of being a permanent resident.  We have a pending ROC and have read in many places on this site that it is completely acceptable to have two pending applications (ROC and naturalization).  Yes, we paid $725.00.  Being online, we paid with credit card.

I believe the two identical color photos are only if you live outside the US.  The rest of your paperwork looks good.

Congratulations! As we expected, it only took them 2 days to "handle" your SR. Now you can sit back and relax.

I am sorry you guys have to experience this.
They always tell you it takes 2 weeks to reply a SR. But in reality it is usually faster. I did a SR too after 1 month waiting. 2 days later my GC was mailed. 4 days later I received a letter about SR from USCIS. The letter explained that our request has been "handled". So I am hoping you guys status will be changed very soon. Don't pay too much attention to their website. It is not stable. I would wait for couple weeks to do infopass too. And, check mail box everyday. Once your SR is "handled", you should receive that letter in the next several days.
    Good luck guys !

You cannot apply 90 days before the 'Resident Since' date, unless you can go back in time and apply for ROC 90 days before your AOS was even approved.
OP, apply for ROC within 90 days of your card's expiration date, July 25, 2017. Enter your expiration date in this calculator and it will tell you the earliest date you can apply, which for you would be April 26, 2017 > http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/dateCalculator.html

I know how you feel ! 20th July here. I hope their system updating won't postpone us for too long. According to the information from Portland office, we are very likely to receive the card in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed !

Just got back from the appointment, and I'm really glad we went. Surprised it wasn't a waste of time to be honest lol
The IO said we should have gotten the GC already, and the delay is due to an issue with the factory they contract it out to. Essentially, the Missouri factory updated its software and so some cards were delayed. He was confident we should get it very soon (less than 2 weeks). He said if we don't have it after 6 weeks from approval date, we should call 1-800-375-5283 and say we have a "service request," which means someone local will go down to the physical location and figure out what's up. In that case, we'd get a response from the service request within 2 weeks. Finally he said if nothing changes in a month, we should make another infopass appointment.
The guy was very helpful and sympathetic and didn't just tell us to wait. He mentioned that processing times are slow these days because office budgets haven't expanded to accommodate increasing demands (meaning, more people send in applications than before, but still only a few employees work on them).
Hope this info is beneficial to you!
Edited to add: Forgot to mention that I also asked about possibly getting a passport stamp while we wait for the card, and he strongly recommended against it because it can cause hours and hours of wait time at customs and ports of entry. He said he'd do it if it were an emergency, though, so we'll keep it in mind.

The officer told us that usually it takes 2 weeks. Welcome notice says it takes 3 weeks. Uscis website shows it takes 2 months.
You can say, Interview officer told you to make infopass in 4 weeks if u don't receive green card. that is not a lie lol The most important question is, what is going on there, what causes the delay, and when can you expect your green card? You have a trip later on out of the country etc.
I have a feeling that you will get the answer tomorrow. Plus, there is nothing to lose. Good luck !!

yes. 18th Sept here on uscis website.
I don't think you should take what they said on the phone seriously. They always tell you to wait and wait. If you got an infopass, don't cancel it. When will it be? Could you please let me know what they say if you go? If you already cancelled, then I will make an infopass in a week or two. The officer interviewed us told us to make infopass if we don't get green card in 4 weeks.

I don't think calling will work. I am gonna make info pass if i don't get anything by the 4th week. I think by the time you may have to make another info pass. But hopefully we won't have to do that. For some reason PDX is always slow.
