If a woman is sleeping with another man and she cannot admit its a bad sign ,she can infect him with diseases ,if you can do that and expect your man to work things out then not all the men can take such bull ###### ,you love one person its one person not two ,life is too short to play with people lives like that, anyways no one will come out of it alive.

Kay&Jay reacted to Dashinka in WHEN TO APPLY FOR AOS
As stated multiple times, there is no timeframe to file the AOS package (485, 765 and AP I forget the form number) after marriage within the 90 day period. The only thing I would add is that you may want to file as soon as you can if you have the filing fee ($1070) as it will help to avoid having to do another medical exam (I693) as your K1 medical is valid for one year.
Good Luck

Kay&Jay reacted to KayDeeCee in WHEN TO APPLY FOR AOS
No. There is no deadline to file for AOS if you married within 90 days. No I-130 needed if married within 90 days, no matter when you file. I-130 is only needed if you did not marry within 90 days of entry.
This post got overly confusing with someone adding in the incorrect info about needing a spousal visa.
There is no time limit/deadline in which to file for AOS. As long as you married within 90 days then you are eligible to file based on your approved I-129F petition and fulling the requirements of the K-1 visa. However, you will be out of status and begin to accrue unlawful presence between your I-94 expiring and filing for AOS. Once you file for AOS, you then enter a period of authorized stay while waiting for your green card approval.
There are no penalties at all for 'late filing' because there is no such thing.

Kay&Jay reacted to Megan & Luke in WHEN TO APPLY FOR AOS
Once the beneficiary enters the USA, a new clock of 90 days begins. The AOS should be filed at some point during these 90 days. The visa expiration date no longer matters - that date is only there to give an expiration on the time the beneficiary must travel to the USA. Others have adjusted status after the 90 days ends, however that begins a new topic. You'd have to file a spousal visa request and AOS together at that point.
Long story short - 90 days from the day of Point of Entry is the time frame to file AOS.

Congrats on all the approvals and good luck to you all waiting for your interviews. Just a question though. I'm still waiting for the embassy to send pocket 3 to my fiance. We keep emailing them but still they haven't responded. Did anyone else have this issue? I'm still working on filling out the DS160. Do we have to complete that before we can get packet 3?

Kay&Jay reacted to Mariana M. in March TSC
Thanks!
I'm the beneficiary, here's from my consulate review:
"When did you two meet?"
"When did you start dating?" - (forgot this one on my consulate review)
"How did you keep in touch?"
"Did you go visit him again?"
"Did he come to Brazil?" and seemed pleased to hear when I said "yes, 3 times"
"Did he propose?" I said we decided this was the best decision together, he seemed fine with it
"Well, are you ready to move to America?" kind of laughing, I said "yes, I know I look very young", he laughed (I am 20, I look 15)
Then he asked if I did my medical, and since I did it yesterday, he said the visa would be issued when the exams got there if everything is ok, but that I am approved, and said congratulations.
It wasn't a tense conversation at all, and I am a very tense person.

Kay&Jay reacted to feeling_hopeful in June 2014 - Texas Service Center K1 Visa Filers (Non-Filipino, non-CSC) thread.
I thought that was one of the first things to be done with applications. Haha, I hope it's a sign someone is working on your case and just punched in the wrong data into their system.
I am starting to have a tiny bit of hope now.

Just to add this word of advice to the single people going through this journey. Choose your life's mate carefully. From this one decision will come 90% of all your happiness or misery. Proverbs 31:10-12. This was my biggest mistake.

I just read the message I posted I found out a lot of errors. Very sad there is no edit button on VJ because it will be difficult for one to comprehend my message. I'm writing with an iPhone you know all the auto correct stuff. I do hope the message can be understood. Thanks once again for your contributions.
