In general, if the checklist is that specific, then it is NOT a false checklist.
1. Do u have a copy of the form i-864a you submitted and verify if the signature is there or not ?
2. The part 2 has to be signed by the household members (spouse for example) of the joint sponser. Are you sure that part 2 was signed by this household member ?

I knew an hour ago but had to wait until I was sure case complete!

We'll call on Monday to know what we've made wrong. Our checklist is for item 6 part 13.a.1 (to bring on the interview). I'm confident that I did it perfectly so I'm gonna call to confirm.

I got also this email a week after they said our case is complete! Ugggghhh we thought that we'll sleep peacefully and happily looking forward to the interview date then this came! NVC is really a nightmare! I hate them!

I remember that I filed my 2013 tax transcript as SINGLE and sent that one to them but I included a letter of explanation and told them my wife will bring the original amended tax transcript on the time of her interview. Is it possible that this is the reason why we got that checklist?

I believe they haven't opened your packages yet. Besides from what I've seen in your timeline, you just sent them in on 10/2. Your scan date is 1-2 days from the day they received your documents and as of the moment they are reviewing packages with scan dates of sept 2-3. So just hang in there and wait for your time patiently sweetie?

Seems that I won't get a cc before the weekends??? I'm tired of stalking CEAC every minute hoping it changed coz I'm expecting my cc within the week. Aug 27th scan date and nothing as of the moment. Hope if not tomorrow then God willing on Monday please.

Someone got a cc today with Aug 27th IV scan date, re-submitted his AOS on Sept 11th. Guess NVC is reviewing all the packets with the early scan date, that's what I noticed with the recent case completes. Hope they'll finish this week the rest of Aug scan filers. Aug 27th here and still waiting? God bless to us!

By the way guys Nvc is working on aug 21 I saw someone on fb got a checklist with scan date aug 21.

Your brother is the only joint sponsor and his wife is the household member. Therefore, he has to select "1d" "I am the only joint sponsor." Since his wife will do the I-864A, he will include her info in part 6, person 1.
You of course select 1a, as the petitioner on your I-864.
