Why/how would children qualify for an employment authorization?? You can’t work in the United States until you are 16... we don’t condone child labor here lol

It got revoked because you did not follow the terms of your visa. A rule of thumb is to spend double the amount of time outside the US than inside. This does not usually happen when you apply for a green card. Fortunately this will have no impact on your upcoming CR1.

This will be my last comment to not further derail this post as OP received their answer- but I think it’s important that misinformation does not continue to spread and allow unnecessary deaths (or strain on the health care system)- I have yet to see a covid vaccine be the cause of death to thousands of people and ALL vaccines and drugs have side effects-  it’s sad to see someone prefer to choose death from covid over a day with body aches and chills, if they even experience side effects at all (from vaccine). All these deaths from those not vaccinated- I guess it’s Gods way of having Darwin’s theory play out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have no time for those who can’t appreciate advances in modern day medicine (that’s why we have a higher life expectancy-thanks to modern medicine) or those who flood their “brains” with conspiracy theories.

Yup- I can attest my baby gets 5 or 6 vaccines at a time for checkups.. and she’s only a baby.

Husband didn’t have any vaccine proof when he went for his medical and got everything in his country that was available and what they didn’t have he got done in the US at the civil surgeon. OP- your fiancé will be fine

It is really unfortunate you did not research before you filed. There is no quick and easy process but gaining knowledge on what you are up against is so important. @Crazy Cat gave you great advice to cancel it and get married and file CR1 since you are just in the beginning of the process. Once he arrives in the US he would be able to work ASAP as that appears to be a priority since you mentioned work. With k1 it could be up to a year after he enters before he is able to work. Good luck and please create your profile/timeline

Lucky2Lucky got a reaction from laylalex in Multiple red flags - Worried about the interview
It seems as if you have met 4 times. That is good "proof" of legitimate relationship. Don't be fearful. Good evidence that you have not mentioned is passport stamps/boarding passes that show you were in the same country at the same time. I suggest having those as well. The overlapping relationship I see happen so often here on VJ and the age difference is usually more of a red flag the other way- when the woman is significantly older than the man which is not normally culturally appropriate (depending on country). Other red flags are meeting only once/language barriers/US citizen sending a lot of money over to foreign fiance/woman significantly older than man/difference of religion where religion is a huge part of society/meeting online (for what its worth.. these things could be overcome and having 1 verses having 5 also affect a case.). I think you are fine..  It's actually think that you both being in the same career is super helpful as well. good luck

The hospital I work for? The official state website? local news? CDC? Yahoo- which pulls from all mainstream sources?
Please re-read my facts I provided on HIV/AIDS and look at how foolish you were to compare the two. I wish only 1% of the population was like you.
Also, PLEASE tell me the hospital your sister works for; I personally would like to report them for defrauding the government in their "COVID" claims.

But marijuana is legal in Massachusetts and you probably don't believe in masks; so what is your point? Do you social distance? Do you wear a mask everywhere you go?

Also- I'm not forced to stay home. Actually, no one in the United States was EVER forced to stay home.

You provided sources that were twitter, YouTube and tiktok. Go back to your breitbart, QANON, whatever conspiracy theory loving sites you so often enjoy.

PLEASE PLEASE don't go running to the hospital if you get COVID. Sit it out at home. Please tell your 1% friends the same as well.

Honestly, I can no longer argue with stupid.

I'm sorry, but 13,000 people in the US die from AIDS/HIV per year. Even one is sad- however, this is nothing (numbers wise) in comparison to how many people in the US have died of COVID in a year. If you can't figure this out from just these numbers alone, then I have nothing to say to you. No one in my circle doesn't believe that there have been almost 700,000 deaths; and all the healthcare workers I know think it's even higher... so again; not sure where your info is coming from. Nurses are quitting because this isn't what they signed up for- death after death that can be almost prevented with a FREE vaccine. Are you a healthcare provider that cares for the sick and doesn't believe this? I highly doubt it. By the way- I'm a health care provider. I don't know what MSM is so I clearly don't religiously pay attention to it- I actually don't have cable and I don't read up on only ONE news source.  It just boggles my mind some people are in such disbelief.

Also, I'm sorry but the first year AIDS/HIV was "discovered" in the USA 121 people have died. You seriously can't compare HIV/AIDS to COVID.

I am not sure what you are getting at here?

But, in case you are sincere, which I don't think you are, I wasn't born when HIV/AIDS first was discovered in the USA. However, all 700,000 deaths that have occurred since the 1980s in the USA from HIV/AIDS is, of course, sad. I am glad there is treatment out there that can have people live a full life and it is not as much of a "death sentence" as it once was. It's crazy to think that almost the same amount of people in the US have died of COVID in the past 17 months as has died of AIDS/HIV in the USA over the last 40 years.

And as someone who has lost a loved one due to COVID, when hospitals/nursing homes didn't have proper PPE (yet the White House stated otherwise), COVID hits a bit closer to home than AIDS/HIV; yet nonetheless the deaths are upsetting.

    A pandemic is defined as:
pan·dem·ic /panˈdemik/ adjective (of a disease) prevalent over a whole country or the world.     So yeah. I'd say that fits the definition of a pandemic. But I'd be more than inclined to believe you don't have a degree in public health or the medical field.

I would stick with the AOS!! TPS is only temporary and who knows what president will get rid of it one day. Also TPS does NOT lead her to become a greencard holder. Whoever is telling you to apply for TPS does NOT know what they are talking about! Like the previous poster suggested if you did not file date I-131 or I-765 with the AOS I highly suggest you do. It's free and she will be able to travel/work before the greencard is approved. Even if you don't *plan* on her working or traveling it is good to have *just* in case. Good luck and I hope your family is safe in Haiti!

I was told (either by the SSA or my lawyer) to put my last name on the mailbox after I got married when I needed a new SSN in my new name. I literally printed and laminated my last name and pinned it to the mailbox. Had no problem receiving mail.

I would try that. Also did you tell USPS that your previous address was in Australia; how did they respond?

I was in Port au Prince visiting my wife and son when the earthquake happened. We felt the building shake and ran outside. Thankfully everyone is okay and there was no damage, but it was a scary experience.
