VFittipaldi got a reaction from TwoChickies in Obama Immigration Order - Halted!
Racist and inhumane... especially those who call the president a dictator. I guess that is what you get for being a person who cares about other people instead of politics and own wealth.

Yes you can do it yourself. I did it for our paperwork. USCIS does require a specific paragraph to add to the end.
    This is the link:
    http://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-and-fees/general-tips-assembling-applications-mailing
This is what you have to add to the end of your translation:
    Certification by Translator

I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.

    Signature_________________________________

VFittipaldi got a reaction from YouAndMeForever in Getting Social Security Number BEFORE the card arrives?
Don't worry about it too much once you are together things can wait. Its easier now. Kind of off topic but you guys should feel lucky that all they want is the SSN. That part is easier. In our state of Oregon you are required to have a picture ID with an address on it to apply for a marriage license. So that's a document you have to get from DMV which takes more time. We already got all that and have the marriage license in hand but it was bit more work this way.

In France, if you do not intend to leave transit zone, no transit visas needed, at least for ukrainians. If you can get her a ticket via smaller airport, I would do it, but make sure she has few hours of layover, just in case.
Good luck with a trip, and hope she enjoys the US!

I was using DHL tracking, and it showed when the case physically was at the Consulate. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302190-dhl-tracking-from-nvc-to-us-embassy/page-101
And as already ppl said, if its says ready, you can do appointment.
    Good luck!

If it says ready, it got there. There's no need to call or email them, just schedule the interview. I've never heard of anybody not being able to interview if they scheduled after it said ready.

VFittipaldi got a reaction from icv21 in filing fiance visa but me and my fiance are not engage yet.
If you are talking about getting her a ring and formally asking her to marry you than no, it makes no difference for the K1. Many people do this.
All USCIS requires is that you have met in the past 2 years. If the 2 of you did meet than you are good to go, engagement ring is not necessary.

VFittipaldi got a reaction from Butterfly307 in HELP!: My fiance found only one W2, is this enough? (I-134)
No you will not be denied. Go to the IRS website and download whats called a "IRS Tax transcript" for as many years as you need. You do not have to wait for them just log in fill in a bunch of personal data and you can download them. There is even a section where it asks what you need them for and you can choose Immigration. In your case its your US fiance who would be doing this. If you search posts about Tax Transcripts most people are saying that if you have them the consulate does not even want to see W2 or 1040 just the transcripts, also many people have said that they only wanted to see the transcript for the past year but i sent two years to my fiance just to be safe. Even in the I-134 application it says Tax Transcripts preferred.
Minden rendben lesz! Gratulalok és sok szerencsét!

Always, always use her name just like it says in her travel passport. That's where the visa is going to go. If you read up on it that is what you will find.
    So use the English letters.
In the section where it says "If your fiance's native alphabet uses other than Roman letters, write his or her name and address abroad in native the native alphabet"
In this section you should write her info in Japanese. If you can't do it on the online form than print it and write it in with a black pen, it is ok to do so.

VFittipaldi got a reaction from Snag in Is it faster if my Fiancée in Vietnam is pregnant?
My Fiancé in Vietnam wants me to get pregnant on my next visit because she believes that it will speed up the process.
If you're a male, then getting pregnant may not be an option for you. If you are a female, then you could get pregnant.

Haha... such a Russian response. That was funny. You are right though i did not understand at first at all who is trying to get pregnant.

My friend just payed his IV. He had to wait about 5 weeks for that fee to show up and be available to pay. While he was waiting he filled out and sent out all of the documents that were instructed.

I really hate to be the mean one here but that is truly not my intention so i hope it wont come across like that. People on this site would go through hell and back a million times to be with each other and some do. I don't think any of them are concerned with small stuff like not being independent and not living in a small or big city and so on. Everyone on this site gives up their entire life, family and friend, pack their belongings into two suite cases and move to be with their love for ever so since you do not have these fillings that is something serious to think about.
I do wish you all the best and the strength to figure it all out.

VFittipaldi got a reaction from Martyshk in Belarus and the Ukrain Russia Conflict
My fiance lives in Ukraine but all the way in the West, so is pretty much all of my family except my immediate family. I was born and raised in Ukraine, to me it is really a great deal of pain and heartache but it is nothing compared to the people who live there. I was just there 3 month ago and spent 1 month there. Things are relativity calm but people are scared to death. What will happen, how it will happen, what is the future of out kids, those are the conversations you hear everywhere you go. Now my fiance says more and more young kids are coming home in coffins, their lives were taken in the war. Part 3 of the military draft has begun so now they are drafting 50,000 people and many of them guys who i know and sadly one of them is my cousin who has a 4 year old boy and a baby on the way. It is awful and unfair what they are doing to Ukraine.
I hope we can all be with our loved once soon, I hope everyone's families and loved once here will be safe and arrive to the US safe and sound!

Nowhere in the instructions it says to include the Fiance's birth certificate or copy of passport pages. I just filled out my K1 packet.
He or she is going to have to bring both of those items to the embassy for her interview.
