The question actually required a simple yes or no answer without passing your hidden judgment.  From the comments It sounds as if someone asked people to give their output on how they feel about someone getting pregnant and wanting to expedite. It is not needed or requested. Stay away from it. Be respectful and polite.

Hey I was pregnant  during the consular process. We got a checklist and that would’ve delayed my husbands interview by 4 months. I sent an email to the embassy for an expedite  and they approved it. In the email i mentioned that if the process would take 11 weeks after I send them what they asked for in the checklist my husband miss the delivery of our baby.

Just hurry up and send the papers anyway. As option, You can also cross the border get the stamp and return back to wait together with your baby in your home country to finish the process . Just make sure your stay won't exceed 6 months

Lenchick got a reaction from Mrsjackson in Get baby a US passport or CRBA?
Usually it works that way. You get first a birth certificate from the country of birth where the US father is also specified, then  the parents with the child go all together to the US embassy in Canada. You need to apply for CRBA asap after the childbirth.  There you will need to fill out some more papers. The father will need to present proofs that he has resided in the states for at least five years, two years of which afer 14. I suppose you can apply straight away for the CRBA and a passport. Call to the embassy and ask them what you need in the given situation. Don't forget to let them know that the child was born out of wedlock. Here is some info

I wouldn't hope they will accept copies. It should be the original.
also, there is a medical instruction from US embassy in Ukraine website. Maybe you will find the answers there.

It will definitely affect your naturalization. You need to be married to be eligible to apply on the base of three years. If you are going to get divorced then you need to wait and file for naturalization when you are a 5 year resident.

    Good News guys.
My case was re opened after review as it was initially denied because I did not show up on the interview (which was not the case). I appeared for my initial interview yesterday.

Today my status was updates to Card being produced.

Thank you every one for your help.

"Americans are 10 times more likely to be killed by guns than people in other developed countries, a new study finds.
Compared to 22 other high-income nations, the United States' gun-related murder rate is 25 times higher. And, even though the United States' suicide rate is similar to other countries, the nation's gun-related suicide rate is eight times higher than other high-income countries, researchers said.
The study was published online Feb. 1 in The American Journal of Medicine."

so if you want to compare the US to Columbia or El Salvador, you are right. If you want to compare the US to developed countries you are way off.

But firearms are not protecting families. They are falling in the hands of terrorists like this man, and ending up killing innocent people.

The argument that fire arms make us safer is akin to suggesting nuclear proliferation will make the world safer.

273 mass shootings in 275 days this year alone in this country. Almost one a day.

Do you see bombs going off or people getting intentionally killed by a vehicle in Europe everyday?

How does buying an ad interfere with the election?  If they had paid people in some states to vote for Trump, that could be construed as interference but an ad is nothing.  I can buy an ad and I'm Russian, so I guess Russia would be blamed.  This all comes down to Democrats needing a scapegoat to take the heat for their failure.

she won't be able to apply for her moms future husband. He is not her parent first of all and the marriage will be created after the step daughter turned 18. Only her mom will be able to apply for her own husband when she becomes a resident.

You mentioned your cousin case who applied and sent two petitions. It means your cousin was able to apply for both parents. Petitions are sent as separate packages for each relative. That's why there were two packages. In the present situation, the vj member obviously won't be able to apply for her step dad and will be able to send only one package.

It's got nothing to do with bait, any event like this should be made political. I'm just sick and tired of hearing from our politicians that the only answer to this problem in America is our prayers and condolences.

This is definitely terrorism, just listening to the audio is chilling, it sounds like footage from a battlefield.
Yes other first world countries have terrorism issues but what they dont have is a long history of mass shootings in society.
America has become so numb to these events that there will be people out there who won't be genuinely shocked by this. A few years ago we had dozens of kindergarten children mowed down inside an elementary school and nothing was done.

I'm sorry that you have found yourself in this situation and your process is so lengthy. I hope everything will work out for the best! The same days ceremonies most of the time don't happen without a reason. Usually the field offices do it for certain applicants.

Wishing you the best of luck!
