Me and my fiance are in sock right now. We dont know whats going on. Even if ppl all over the world do things like this they say that they treat each other as unique and with respect. i ve been in hell all those months. I left my job and after i came back on my home coutry my father kicked me out the house cause im with a non greek and a specially with a black person. He doesn't talk to me. In the begining he was saying he ll kill me or whatever. I live with my mother and my step father, they make my life a hell cause i have a lot of problems with my step father. I'm not able to find a job even part time to support myself right now.
I dont know what to feel... I start to realize what happend and I'm getting in more sock than before... Let's say my fiance will come in greece, what is he going to do there with the crisis? How we ll live? And how they will accept him on the society when we even have a nazi political party on the 3rd place. Ppl here are super racists. And i wont let anyone to say a *** about my man. I ll kick their ***

First you need to call the police and file a claim for a lost passport. Second call the department and tell them that your passport was misdelivered and it was not delivered to the correct address. Third do a follow up with USPS and see whats going on ask to talk to a supervisor and basically don't walk away from them until they do something for their mistake.

do not mess up yourselves trying another airport, that's wasting
money that could go to K1, waiting a yr is better than more probs.

Today was my appointment with Dr. Doumazos at Iaso General.My appointment was at 11am but I was there at 10am. As i was sitting outside his office the doctor came out to print something so he was glad to call me inside his office so we can finish quicker the process. He was really polite and made me feel comfortable. First he asked for my passport and a picture and then he asked for my vaccination record. He checked everything and then he asked me if i take any medication or if i smoke or if i was ever under medication or in the hospital. Then he just checked my blood pleasure he said is really great and then he checked me with the stethoscope. He saw i have a tattoo on my back so he asked if i have more he looked at them and he was making fun.. Not a problem with the tattoo at all.After this he checked my neck and my belly and asked me if i feel any pain. Thats it. During this he was asking me about me and my fiance and where we ll go and the plans for the wedding... I felt so comfortable ...
When we were done i told him that i worry so much and I'm scared he told me i have nothing to worry im great and healthy. I gave him 50 as he asked and he told me to go pay the blood test and the X-ray but a vaccine and ask for the nurse on the first floor to do it for me. He gave me his best wishes for my wedding and i left.
I paid 97 for X-ray and blood test. The nurse at the blood test was amazing. She was sooooooo polite and funny ...and i didnt understand aaaaanything.... I was soooo surprised...then i did the X-ray and the lady told me is fine and at the end i went outside the hospital to buy the vaccine for chicken pox. That was a lil expensive 45 and i paid 10 the nurse at the emergency to do it for me and call the doctor and let him know that I'm done with everything.
The exams will go with a courier at the embassy as the doctor told me.
Thats it. Really easy ... No pain at all ... Was a really nice day... I know its weird to say that when u go to a hospital but it felt like i was out for coffee more than i went to a hospital. I made a lot of fun with the nurse that i really had a good time.
I totally recommend Dr Doumazos for everyone who will have their medical exams in Athens!! He is a great person and doctor.

That's awesome!!! Congrats!!! We k1 filers are special people, because we have to endure what regular couples go thru plus the long distance, and the patience dealing with our slow government, while staying positive, loyal, faithful to our love ones. Kudos to all going thru this very difficult but very worthy process!!!

Guysssssss still nothing they havent received my case i guess...... Pffff thats so annoying!! We ll never finish k1.... JESUS CHRIST!!! I ll have to wait 4 months to set an interview appointment in my country!! Nobody cares from the government??? Nobody cares that we are individuals and we have emotions? They look at us just like papers and money!!!

Especially family members drive me crazy!!! Especially when they call me "poor girl" i wanna punch them. They ask me again and again and what's going on and why we are so far(and mostly they are village ppl that they dont know even to write their names and reeeeeally old).
I was thinking what would i do so long without my husband if i was pregnant(the immigration officer told us the whole process will take 5 months). It's being 7 months i have to see him and we have no money to spent right now for flight tickets. The visa process is expensive enough!!
But as soon as we are done with k1 and im with him I LL THROW AWAY MY PHONE AND MY IPAD.... im sooooo tired to use skype and viber and all those things aaaaalll day long! 24 hours non stop....

I would ask them that question too, but from what I have read on other topics even if you are granted an expedite through USCIS does not mean that the embassy will expedite the case. But it doesn't hurt to ask! Greetings and best wishes to both you and your fiancé!

I dont think that there are false stories out there because then they'd have to lie about the rest of the dates like NVC, interview - too much work just to impress VJers. You do have a good point though

I think you need to step away from VJ for a while.. everyone else's good fortune can drive you insane. I've been there myself.

COs, USCIS workers, and NVC workers are human beings too. They get bored, wonder, and play with the web just like we do. The more they monitor this site the better it is for everyone, in helping all parties to understand each other. Fact, some COs actually fall in love and must go through the same process as we all do.
Seriousness aside, a few days ago I made a post regarding how slow USCIS was in processing my wife's re entry permit. Processing time is generally 3 months, but ours is taking four months. 24 hours later I received an email that her case was processed and documents mailed to us. It was coincidence I'm sure.
But even if it wasn't, I'm glad someone is paying attention and undertanding the process of wanting to be with people with love.
The internet is definately a great tool for everyone.
