  1. The risks and rewards of taking down the ‘big guy’ Joe Biden https://nypost.com/2023/08/22/the-risks-and-rewards-of-taking-down-joe-biden/
  2. Personally, I would not use more than 6-12 photos. When we did it, I pasted the photos, 2 to a page, onto .PPT slides and then saved it as a PDF. That should be fine.
  3. I would have thought higher than 33%. As Jeremy Clarkston once said.
  4. I recently noticed a Tesla Model X traveling down the road at reduced speed and 4 ways on heading to one of the two or three service centers here in Michigan. I wonder when independent shops will be allowed to service Teslas.
  5. The insurance person decided not to mention the elephant in the room. If it was just accidents and natural disasters, I expect they could deal with it. I believe there is an uptick in property damage in some of the likely locations. I have a friend in AZ that sometimes does some work in San Fran. He will not take his personal vehicle there and always rents a vehicle. 6. I still do not see how an EV is considered a disruptive technology. The comparison between the slide rule and calculator does not really apply here. There may be advantages to EVs as compared to ICEV such as less routine maintenance, etc., but there are certainly disadvantages such as faster tire wear, having a totaled vehicle after a relatively minor fender bender, towing, long trips, etc. I see a lot of EV fans label those skeptical of EV’s functionality for their specific circumstances troglodytes, kind of a false label IMO.
  7. Hmm, get the face diapers ready I guess. Btw, where have I heard the whole “two weeks” thing before? Mask Mandates Return At Atlanta College, Hollywood Studio As Covid Cases Start To Rise The college also canceled all parties and “large student events on campus” for the next two weeks and said students will face temperature checks upon arriving on campus; data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows Covid-19 hospitalizations are up 30% statewide in Georgia, along with a recent spike in Covid cases, according to CBS Atlanta. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/news/mask-mandates-return-at-atlanta-college-hollywood-studio-as-covid-cases-start-to-rise/ar-AA1fDhzt
  8. If anyone knows of this issue first hand, they can report it to the Consulate, or to DHS.
  9. I see the India Space Agency landed properly. What isn't highly being reported is this was their second attempt with the first being a crashed landing in 2019.
  10. Just curious, so only Fat Bottomed Girls was left off the Queen Greatest Hits list. Seems Killer Queen, and Tie Your Mother Down might also be troublesome from a lyrical perspective.
  11. Is she taking credit for the removal?
  12. Not really my choice, individual parents should decide, and not the nanny state. As to parents getting their kids a smart speaker, well, I have different views on that whole thing.
  13. When you get the NOA with the interview date, it should show all the information you should bring. I don't believe passport photos are required (my wife's I751 interview was in 2018, I don't think we ever took any passport photos to it). I just reviewed the instructions for the I751, and it does not list what to bring to an interview (unlike the N400 instructions). I would take a copy of the I751 package you submitted along with any updated information such as updated tax transcripts, or other evidence that is new since filing. The IO should give you a chance to add any additional evidence to the package. As to the system, it should update soon hopefully. Good Luck!
  14. Let's not forget Tipper Gore, a Leftist Democrat that also fought hard for more censorship.
  15. It seems only some people today need smelling salts, and those tend to be on the Left who need to celebrate their wokiness, you know, "progress". Whatever, I am waiting for these folks to go after the rappers based on some of their lyrics. Although not a big rap fan, I am fine with them practicing their art.
  16. Sure, the others being Mongolia and Kazakstan. The interesting thing is that the DPRK also shares a border with a relatively thriving free society as well which is one of the reasons the CCP keeps supporting it at a minimal level. Here is a recent story from the DailyNK. Of course given the fact that the sources are few and far between, a lot of the information is a bit dated (usually by a few weeks or a month or two,), and it is often anecdotal, and or opinion. It does however shed some light into the Hermit Kingdom. N. Hwanghae Province tells new house owners to move in or face punishment In one rural area in Koksan County, workers dug crude pits at a depth of 0.5 meter in the gardens behind houses as a makeshift measure right before residents moved in. Wastewater from the kitchen and bathroom is drained into the pit, but families cannot use water freely for fear the pit will overflow. “For these homes to be livable, individual homeowners have to dig a deeper pit and cover it with a cement lid or build their own sewage system. Some shoddy homes don’t even have the pit, and instead have pipes that run from the kitchen into a nearby ditch. The people there are in horribly unsanitary conditions because of the swarms of flies and maggots,” the source said. Move in or get sent to labor camps Without doing anything to address these issues, the provincial people’s committee is insisting that families move into their new houses before Sept. 9 and even threatening to throw householders into labor camps if they do not move in, the source said. That has apparently aroused grumbling among people left with no choice but to immediately get ready to move into their new houses. “People have strong opinions about being obliged to move into nonfunctional houses, but they basically have to obey orders from officials who are only concerned with getting everyone into their new homes by Sept. 9 regardless of the actual conditions,” the source said. https://www.dailynk.com/english/north-hwanghae-province-tells-new-house-owners-move-in-face-punishment/
  17. I tend to agree, this is Trump's biggest weakness, and we should not forget that Pence was also involved in the Covid response.
  18. Go woke, go broke. The Democrat playbook. Aside from that, I thought this was interesting. Studies from Harvard and Tel Aviv Universities of 800 companies over a span of 30 years demonstrated that DIE programs frequently fail to change employees' attitudes. In fact, they often aggravate biases and racial hostility.
  19. To be fair, Tesla's and many other EVs are basically tablets on wheels, so a modicum of tech savviness is required. I was interested in the comment about the need for texting while driving, I wish she had expanded on this a little more. I suspect she was talking about the need to focus on the center console to do anything in the vehicle. Not completely familiar with Tesla's (I have never driven one), but I believe they are highly dependent on that center screen which certainly can take someone's eyes off the road. I see similar issues with other vehicles today, but in most of the ones I have driven recently, there was enough tactile controls for things like HVAC, wipers, etc. that the center screen was only used for navigation and audio.
  20. So are these folks still out on strike? Has anyone noticed?
  21. Wondering if anything happened to this lawyer? Public caning maybe? Gotta love extreme Leftist/Democrats. wild trial where the defense attorney told the jury she was Antifa and would "remember" their faces.
  22. Doesn't this song celebrate this body type much like Lizzo?
  23. My wife turned in her expired EAD card, but I do not think it is required. We did business casual for her oath and that was pretty much the same for the rest of the folks taking the oath on the same day. Good Luck!
  24. Remember when the global warming nuts would say you cannot judge global warming based on the weather? Of course now it is all flipped around, and every weather event is global warming.
