At some point we need to remember that these are trained physicians... they probably see thousands of vajayjays a year and there is nothing sexual about it. But most importantly, religious belief or not, if USCIS sees them fit to do an accurate exam then you kind of need to go with the flow. I'm sure they will have a nurse present to ensure everything is ok. In my opinion male gynos are nicer than female ones... but that's just personal opinion.
    Good luck.

I don't think it is even as deep as whether it has anything to do with someone being in the LGBT community. It is about me saying I'm a female immigrant. They're just making sure we are what we say we are on paper. I'm sure that this part will have to be re-examined down the road as more acceptance comes in regarding transgender folks.
But for the purpose of the OP, we're just making sure we are built as listed on our paperwork.

In my opinion if you can show ties to Canada you shouldn't have a problem. However it all depends on the CBP officer. But maybe these will put your mind at ease. We are allowed 6 months at a time and there is no specific time required between visits.
    This is from the http://canada.usembassy.gov/visas/information-for-canadians.html
Canadian visitors are generally granted a stay in the U.S. for up to six months at the time of entry. Requests to extend or adjust a stay must be made prior to expiry to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. All Canadians are reminded that U.S. law requires all foreigners to qualify for the desired stay and purpose at the time of their initial entry. A visitor who intends to live, work or study in the U.S. without disclosing this information beforehand may be permanently barred from the U.S.
    And this one from https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/619/~/visiting-the-u.s.---documents-required-for-canadian-citizens-%2F-residents-%2F
The burden of proof that the Canadian citizen is not an intended immigrant (plans to make the U.S. their primary residence) is always on the applicant. There is no set period of time Canadians must wait to reenter the U.S. after the end of their stay, but if it appears to the CBP Officer that the person applying for entry is spending more time over-all in the U.S. than in Canada, it will be up to the traveler to prove to the officer that they are not de-facto U.S. residents. One of the ways to do this is demonstrate significant ties to their home country, including proof of employment, residency, etc. (See list attached.)

Hmm so much to say... or therefore not say....
As mentioned, your friends origin and culture could help understanding the situation. But you're the one seeking advice... Are you American? It's very difficult for me to comprehend how an American, or someone living there could actually ask if a husband can decide if his wife can work or not, and if a woman living in the U.S.A has rights.
Bottom line is signing a prenup is totally up to the couple, deciding if one of the spouses will stay at home, also up to the couple. There is no right or wrong answer. All I see here is miscommunication and probably lack of actually knowing their significant other before marrying them.
I think I'm ready to be 'domesticated' while I wait for my EAD, I'm even looking forward to GARDENING! (please do not tell the feminist chirping in my ear) But I would not agree or marry my SO if I thought he was looking for someone to just take care of him. We are a team and as a team we choose to support one another and make sure the other person is happy. But that's us and what we want in our relationship. Marriage is a serious commitment it's not just something one should agree too without knowing it's implications.

Why care about what other people think of a t.v. show if you do not believe it portrays the realities of your relationship? If you`re happy with your decision then so be it and screw other peoples judgments.
Relationships are different for everyone. I for one could not imagine committing by getting engaged or even less married with so little time spent face to face with someone. But then again I'm in a, as mentioned 'Canadian-American relationship' and have spent just about 100 days over the span of a year with my fiance before getting engaged, but that is what we chose because it's a part of a relationship we need to commit.
Everyone makes their own decisions and part of being in a mature relationship is owning up to the path we have laid out before us. So if you're happy and confident in your relationships why should you be defensive?
