Be careful, I applied for myself and my son but his check got sent back on it's own saying I had paid too much, so I just assumed he was included in my fee. Then after 6 months I had my interview and got my green card but there was no application for my son, they said they never received it so I am now having to apply from the start for him
Just make sure you get 2 seperate receipt numbers, this is where I made the mistake. Sarah

I have just receieved my AOS appointment and as a K1 visa holder I have already had my medical. All my vaccinations were done at the time of the K1 interview so does this mean I don't need to submit a vaccination supplement at this interview? If I do does anyone know if a Military MD can complete this rather than a civil surgeon?
Thanks in advance

I received a RFE for my i-485 requesting proof that my husband is in the Armed forces. It states on the letter that " You are ineligible for interim employment Authorization pursuant to title 8, code of federal regulations, section 103.2 until 90 days after the missing initial evidence is received"
Has anyone else had this and if so did you really have to wait another 90 after the evidence is submitted to receive your work authorization?
Thanks

Yes...he needs to pay the $225 fee but he does not need to pay a biometrics fee as he is under 14 years old. Also, he does need to have photos.
Thanks

British Passport Expired and no Green card
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted
I entered the US on a K1 Visa with my 7 year old son in January 2006. After getting married I applied for both my son's and my permanent resident I-485. I received my green card in August 06 but they "lost" my son's application and are still processing it now....
Well my son's British passport has now expired and he has no other ID if we need to travel etc I can apply for a new one at the British consulate but I have to return the old one with the Visa in it, does anyone think I should or just wait until the Green card arrives?
Thanks for your help
