I have a question regarding copies of my marriage certificate. Can I just include one certified copy for the AOE and photo copies of the other two required for the EAD and AP? OR do all copies need to be certified (from the clerk recorder)? Thanks for your help and sorry if this has been addressed in the other 35 pages

Its hard to say how helpful it was but the interview for us in Romania was like 3 minutes long with me there. Might have been more scrutiny if I wasn't there. I would say if the USC has the opportunity to attend the interview, and it is allowed by your consulate, do it. I think its shows an extra level of commitment to the CO interviewing you.

Awesome! 2 months from NOA1 to Approval is pretty quick. We are lucky.

My interview experience was pretty straightforward. They didn't really look at our evidence and asked only a few questions such as how we met, our wedding plans, and if the USC spoke Romanian. We we were in and out in 30 minutes.

I will really apreciate! I have just one question.
I received yellow envelope one week ago. I did not start to fill out ds-160 form because i'm waiting for income tax return from my fiancee.
The question is:
Its ok if i wait to fill the ds-160 form until i have this income tax return? Or should i fill out ds-160 immediatley?
I mean, is that a problem that i did not fill up imediatley this form?
Thanks
I used my 2012 tax transcript and just brought that with my W-2 for 2013 to the interivew

It probably doesnt matter who sends the email as long as its filled out completely and you bring the confirmation page.

I did the same thing you are doing, stressing about potential interview questions. When it was all said and done, the CO at the embassy in Bucharest asked two questions, how did you meet, what are your wedding plans. If they ask you the question you asking about just tell them because you want to get married in the U.S. If they ask why...tell them those are the plans you made. This is really all that you need to say.

Romania has no Packet 4. We got our visa about a month ago so let me know if you have any questions.

I arrived with my fiance to California yesterday! I have to say that the 26 hours of traveling on 3 hours of sleep was probably the toughest test of the solidarity of our relationship! But that was all forgotten very quickly....as was the whole visa process.

cool man...just sharing my experience

They barely looked at our pictures and ignored the hundred pages of chat logs for the interview. We really over did it with proof but it made us feel comfortable for our application and interview.
-
One thing to keep in mind is that you will likely be standing behind a countee covered from the waist down with some thick glass between you and the interviewer. No need to over do it. My fiance stressed about this before our interview and it didn't matter

Our k1 was approved in about 3 months and we had an attorney. Hard to say if that helped but it certainly wasn't a hindrance.

virgin mobile is unlimited everything with 300 mins for 35. also unless you live in a very rural area your coverage will be fine with any network.

We just had our visa approved today! My fiance and I had known each other for only 3 months before we filed and I seriously thought that would be an issue but the interview in Bucharest Romania appeared to be a formality. We noticed that the passport of my fiance was put into the envelope before the interview started which seemed to imply that we had already been "tentatively" approved before we had the interview. Im feeling very blessed today and I am sending good vibes to everyone that is still waiting for the good news. Stay positive, confident, and strong, and your time to celebrate will come!

Approved just now. The whole process took 30 minutes. Was so much easier than I had expected. Feeling really great right now!

Thanks I think that answers my question. My fiance doesnt really have assets so we aren't pursuing that as well.

You can look at my timeline to see how long things took. We could have had the interview a week earlier but I couldn't get to Romania then. She scheduled the interview. I took a little patience to get it though so keep that in mind. After noa2 it goes to the embassy. That took about a week. About A week after my fiance got her packet from the embassy. The packet has all the instructions. if you pm me your email I can email you the instructions we got to get a head start.

Hey guys im bumping this topic Interview is on tuesday leaving for Romania on Saturday . The package of information my fiance got from the Bucharest embassy is asking for a DS-1858, its also asking for loan statements (mortgage etc). For those that recently did the interview is this stuff really required or am I reading it wrong Seems kind of overkill. The stuff I have compiled are my Tax Returns for 3 years, Bank letter, letter from employer with salary, length of employment etc, and my I-129F. Am i missing anything?
Here is a link of the forms we that I can vaguely understand with the help of my fiance

We plan to just sign the paperwork to be legally married (no ceremony) and then go back to Romania have a ceremony in her hometown at a church in the spring/summer of 2015.

Have your fiance ask his human resources if they allow partners not yet married to get health coverage. At my company they allow this because there are a few same sex couples that weren't legally allowed to get married until recently but other people in long term relationships were able to take advantage of it.
