I had no idea some people managed to expedite without presenting a letter .

Hey guys, just got an update on my EAD, that it has been sent to be produced. I had expedited on 02/16 and got a mail to send further evidence. In which I sent 02/25

So this happened today... Wife's green card was approved.  Literally two days after they received the RFE for medical we sent in.  They received the application packet on October 24th and approved a little over 4 months later!

Service center would be the in the same state as you are living in, googling it will help.
 
If your NOA's reciept starts with MSC then it is National Benefits center
 

It was the Tier 2 staff who told me. Two tier staff told me on two separate occasions. One said they were working oj April 2016. Two weeks after, the next one said they jumped off from April 2016 to August 2016.
 
During that time, I was really anxious as my status for I-765 and I-485 were left unchanged. When she told me it jumped to 2016, my heart suddenly got uplifted. So I kinda just relaxed myself and a few days after that, my EAD got approved and my I-485 was changed saying "Ready for Interview". 
 
I was skeptical about the jump in processing times before. But when my status changed, i suddenly became a believer. Lol
 
I just don't know if it goes with those who got RFE. I also expected one before and asked the Tier 2 officer about it. She said it won't affect the timeline that much just as long as the applicant submits the needed info on time. She said if the answer is delayed by a month, the petition is also delayed by a month.
 
I do not rely on the posted priority dates. Whenever I have something to ask, I directly talk to a Tier 2 Officer. That works for me, I just don't have much idea with the rest. It's better to try calling them and get a tiny piece of info than to sulk in one corner and make your head ache with unanswered questions. ?

Yes. Tell them right away that you wish to talk to a tier 2 officer after you give them your receipt number. They won't resist it. ?

I've been reading posts from here for quite sometime now...
 
I entered as a K1 Visa but our lawyer messed up the process with some unnecessary filing which also caused our pockets $420
 
Here it goes:
 
Dec 3 - sent AOS package through a lawyer (I-485 / I-765 / I-130)
Dec 6 - USCIS received the package
Dec 9 - USCIS received I-765 and I-130 (didn't file I-131) as of website
Dec 16 - USCIS received I-485 as of website
Dec 18 - received all three NOA's via mailbox
Dec 22 - USCIS cashed the checks and same day updated the online status for I-485 as fingerprint fee received
Dec 28 - received letter from mailbox for biometrics appointment for 11 January 2017
Jan 11 - had my biometrics done at Santa Ana, CA office and same day called USCIS hotline to inquire about the I-130 being unnecessary
Jan 13 - online status for I-130 was changed to I-130 initiating refund request
Jan 16 - received a mail from USCIS about refund request
Jan 26 - mailed our response to USCIS if they can grant the refund and withdraw the I-130
Jan 31 - USCIS changed the online status for I-130 as withdrawn
Feb 15 - USCIS changed the online status for I-765 as card being produced
Feb 21 - received letter from USCIS about EAD approved via mailbox
Feb 22 - USCIS changed online status for I-765 as card being mailed
Feb 23 - USCIS changed online status for I-485 as interview being scheduled 
 
Right now, we do not rely on our lawyer for updates. We always get to do it on our own. Btw, we failed to include our DS3025 in the packet. Thank God, through our prayers, no RFIE/RFE for this.
 
I was really expecting one though but He is amazing..
 
I am thrilled to receive my EAD hopefully this week in God's grace..
 
Just keep on trusting the Lord and He will fight your battles.. Don't lose hope.

I know a number of people have had positive results with the submission of their service request after 75 days of their application being submitted. I'm wonder how long the response typically takes. I submitted mine today and was told I'd get a response in 30 days. I'm sure that's just the standard time frame everyone is told. Wondering about people experiences on this site....

Wow this thread has just blown up in the past few days. I am still waiting for any update since my biometric. Hoping in the next 2 weeks EAD and AP is processed. I am at 73 days now. 

Day 67 for me I believe. Same as you, case just says "Finger print fee received ". I was expecting a rfe , did my bio on the 18th of last month and still nothing.

FYI, we got e-notification yesterday that our EAD/AP card has been mailed! That's just two days after approval! I'm shocked it was sent so quickly!

Yeah ! I hope that's it for you RFE wise. Now we just need those ead/ap to start happening !

I took the plane thrice while out of status ( a few years overstay) . I did bring my marriage certificate and etc ... in case I was stopped but that was a waste of time. They never cared enough to even check the visa pages on my passport. I just put my ticket next to my bio page on my passport and that was it . 
 

Got my Biometrics appointment today in the mail for January 9 ! 
Woohoo. Not thinking of doing the walk in. 
Is anybody aware why some people do them in the first place ? I don't see the advantage till the point you got a scheduled time which you can't come at.
