I just received my approval notices for EAD and AP !! So happy  I also found a job as a nurse starting as soon as I get my ssn and EAD card. 

I received a letter this Saturday saying that after a review of my "initial evidence" for file I485 , I would need to bring an updated medical exam ( gonorrhea test missing) for my interview.It was dated 03/28. I hope that means they are finally looking at my case.Im definitely feeling relieved.

Last week when I called USCIS to check on my case they told me that they're now issuing a combo card for EAD/AP. So hopefully you should be good on your AP as well.

So I just received a notice for the card being produced.  However, it was only updated for the I-765 and not the I-131.  Anybody else experience something similar?  I applied for them together do one would think that they would cover both as the card was being produced.  At this point though, we have our interview on Thursday so will probably be done with the interview before we actually receive the card.

Have you asked to be transferred to a tier 2 ? They should be able to give you more info.Lately, it's been taking less time than usual for a call back.(about 1h30-50mn).

Thank god i haven't had to call lately. It seems like a customer service officer from when I got my rfie created 2 requests to have them reach out. They have just reached out to me lately.So I asked about my case when they called me .Only called uscis once to verify the "646" number wasn't a scam.
 
Ive thought about all you are saying myself. I manage to keep my cool, like I even said to the officer " i understand it's not your fault , I just need an idea of when to expect anything so I can relay it to prospect employers ".I let him know though I would ask to speak to a supervisor when he tried to hang up on me mid-sentence.
 

Just be careful with what you say and how you say it when you speak to anyone at USCIS. Through my time here on VJ I've seen a few cases where the applicant was calling too many times or was too "rude" when calling and was told that if they keep doing that something might happen to their case. And it turned out that their cases took much longer than they should have, and a few were even sent to a storage place "by mistake" which delayed the whole thing with several months. 
 
It's just a little heads-up, but I firmly believe that if you call too often, send too many service requests and so on, that they can mess with your case. So just be careful.

Hi everyone. 
I can't believe it. My status changed to "Scheduled for Interview" last night. (strangest thing is me and my husband were looking up interview questions on my phone when I got the texts)
That was fast, I know Philadelphia is a fast office but wow, I wasn't expecting that. Now to wait for the date. 

J'en suis à 106 days , this gives me hope !! Super Super ??.

Ok so today i received my EAD card in hand ! Finally some relief, and yes it is a combo card and serves as I-512 advance parole also which i had applied too (i-131)
 
I hope you all also hear good news too. 
 
Congratulations to people who have been receiving progress like EAD cards, and i notice some people are also getting their interviews scheduled already, congratulations again. 
 
Those who are waiting please do not lose heart, hang in their, things are just slower this time will most cases taking 100 days to reach a decision without RFE and then wait for printing and mailing the card. Best of luck. 
 
Now for the I-485 wait, it still shows fingerprint received, and not even ready for interview, but i am sure it will be done when the time is right, for my state the wait is a scary 10 months for interview. 

I also didn't see Suss&Camm's reply to you as rudeness. Simply a blunt question what most think.
 

I didn't read it as rude but more as direct/blunt. There was no attack or snide remark...just saying that you've already made a couple different mistakes on part 1 of the process. Slowing down to properly look over what is needed, ask questions, etc. will save you a lot of time, stress, and frustration later.
 
USCIS requires exact payment. Otherwise they will reject the petition and return it for you to fix it.
 
"You" means the applicant. While your husband is the sponsor for the I-485, it's your application to adjust status. You don't need to be an immigration lawyer...(almost) none of us are. Just read the guides and ask questions if you aren't sure.

I don't mean to be rude so please don't take it that way at all, but how did you come to the conclusion that the petitioner should do biometrics?
The petitioner will not receive any card in this process.... why would they? 
I guess I just don't understand your thinking at all. I'm also getting a bit concerned for the rest of your petition/application, especially the i-864, which many make simple mistakes on, if you in fact did this mistake that shows a bit of lack of understanding of the process.
If I were you I would take the opportunity when the paperwork is sent back to you, to do some additional research and double check the i-864 in particular.
 
The check thing is easily solved as mentioned above  good luck to you!

I would start out with your own secured card.  Use it and pay it off monthly

Got our interview date this past Wednesday and the official letter with interview time and location in the mail today, in 2 days! The letter says to bring everything the application you originally submitted contained. So, if anyone didn't make a copy of their original packet, be sure to do that at some point before your interview. We didn't make a copy because we mailed it in Dec 22 and were in a rush to do so to avoid the fee hike

Received an sms and update that my EAD card is being produced. Whoot!!
EAD card is being produced- day 91.  

Case still not updated yet !! I'm  getting anxious.Day 88 here ( time taken by the RFIE left out ). How long does it freaking take to confirm reception of a RFIE response ???!' ???

The customer service # is 18003755283 . You can create a service request via phone or online , just look for "submit an inquiry" at the bottom of the case tracker page.
To speak to a tier 2, once you reach customer service on the phone, ask to be transferred to a tier 2 officer. They will verify your identity/ purpose of the call and then transfer you . Due to high volume calls, you most likely will have to schedule a call back . They usually call me back within 2-3 hours at the most.
