  1. You're right I meant I 485. I always get confused with those numbers.

Now my question is still current. As a number of K1 ers I never got any medical document to prove that my vaccinations are OK. Everythng was sent to the consulate and the Consulate gave me that brown enveloppe. I gave it to the Immigration Officer at the POE. Now what do I do when it comes to the AOS? All I have now is the X rays. That's not much of a proof.

What must I tell the USCIS. I read on this forum that some just wrote a letter to explain the issue and didn't get a RFE...

Anyway I need other people's opinion...

Thanks for taking some time to answer

    Yodrak,

I hope you're right. I'm facing exactly the same issue. The doctor didn't give me anything after the examination. And all I have have now is the X rays. If the results are in my case waiting at the local office, then I think that tnere is no need to add any proof of medical examination or vaccination to the I 765. Now will I get an RFE? Or will they understand that the Consulate in Paris placed all the results in the brown sealed enveloppe that I gave at the POE? Or maybe should I add an explanation letter?

    Thanks....

You mean the I-485 not I-765. Right?

  3. I've just read that I should have been given that I 693A form by the physician who conducted my medical examination for the visa. He gave me nothing. I read on this website that sometimes that form is in the sealed envellope I gave to the Consulate at my interview. If that's the case the Consulate didn't give me anything back. They only gave me an envellope to give give to the Immigration Officer at the POE. Which I did.

It seems that I need this I 693 A form for AOS. Since I don't have it, and didn't even know until today that such a form exists, how can I do for AOS?

Can you give me any hint?

  4. Hey everyone. I announced a few days ago that my visa was granted. I would like to reiterate that this website is really VERY HELPFUL. I am now in the USA with my wife to be. I got on the plane three days after I got my visa. Meanwhile something incredible happened.:no:I got selected at the Green Card lottery DV 2007.

Now I’m both happy and confused. Of course I will marry and apply for my Adjustment Of Status. With regards to the processing times, I just wonder if it wouldn’t be possible to go on with the lottery process at the same time and the first Green Card to be issued would be the right one. And it possibly could be the lottery one if I ask to have the interview outside of the USA.

Can you tell me what you would do if you were in my place?

    Thanks so much.

  5. Since your fiancee is the one marrying you and supposedly supporting you, she´s the one that will be filing the affidavit. You can get a co-sponsor if she doesn´t meet the requirement but it´s advisable that this co-sponsor is someone close to your fiancee, since they´re co-sponsoring her, and not you.

The fact is that my fiancée has been doing a professionnal training since last year. She's been working monly part time and therefore doesn't meet the minimum requirement. I wonder if it will do any good that she files the affidavit. This why I asked friend of ours to file it.

Even if she doesn't meet the requirement should she file an affidavit too?

  6. Hey y'all

You're gonna think I'm crazy. I'm happy and sad at the same time. I got packet 4  . But interview is on June 21st. :crying: . Way too late. Because for certain reason I need to be in the USA sooner than that.

Is there a way to ask them to reschedule my interview on an earlier date? My USC fiancée wants to get her congressman involved at this point. Will this be helpful?

    Waiting for your opinions?

    Anyway I'm glad I have packet 4 :D:lol:

  7. I am going through a very unpleasant process with the Consulate in Paris.

I returned my packet 3 on Monday. Yesterday (Thursday) they sent to me a second packet 3 with the same documents. This time they added something called "Notification of applicant readiness". The document list was also a bit different from the one I had in the first packet 3. The second one had "December 2005" written at the bottom of the sheets.

Why do they send me the packet 3 twice? This morning I went to the Consulate to ask for some explanation. I got none. And no one seemed to care. They gave me a phone number. I called and the person was unable to answer the question.

At the Consulate they were even unable to tell me if I should send the second packet 3 to 18 avenue Gabriel or to 2 rue St Florentin.

People in Paris, everyone anyone please help me!!!!!!!

    1) Why did I get two packet 3?

    2) Did anyone had this "Notification of applicant readiness" in his/her packet 3?

    3) Did anyone had a document list with "December 2005" at the bottm of the sheets?

    4) Where on earth must I return the packet 3?

I don't wanna go back to the Consulate again. It's too frustrating.....

  8. Is this a problem if the dates of birth of my parents are differents on the G 325A (sent to the service center) and the ones on DS 230 Part1 (sent to the Embassy) are different. I think I made a mistake. Not sure but you never know..... Will this be a problem resulting in the denial of the visa. does the embassy check the G 325A?
