A friend of mine just left the USA and forgot his Green Card. What can he do in order to reenter the USA?

Can the GC just be mailed to him? I must confess that I find it hard to believe. Can you leave the USA without showing your GC?

Anyway, he's gone for two weeks. Can his brother mail the GC to him?

This may be a silly question but what does "For commercial overnight or fast freight services, only:" mean? I am looking at the USCIS website to see where to mail my AR-11. I plan to to send it overnight and was wondering if thats what that phrase means.

I sent mine by express mail to the fast freight address. Then two days later I checked with USPS and it was delivered. I guess the other address is for normal mail.

Arrrgh!!!!!! Nothing so far.

I shutting down the computer and going for a walk. Hopefully when I come back, there'll be something new.

Ok Here we go again. Let's see what we get today...

As dumb as it seems, I just researched this recently for the DAH's naturalization application. Legal opinion is that you *do* include all those organizations.

Then that's really dumb....

I guess it's over for today. CSC didn't do much Let's just hope tomorrow will see a whole bunch of touches and approvals. In the meantime I'm gonna try not to think about it. i'm just gonna pretend that I'm not feeling worried and anxious.

I asked myself the same question when I was filling the forms. I've been in cinema clubs, aikido federations, basketball association, cultural associations and so on.... You'll never have enough room for everything. Just pick up two or three important ones. I mean who cares if you were in judo club or photo club? I don't think it's the kind of info they're looking for. You see what I mean?

My husband's green card came in the mail today and it looks so beautiful!!!! All the paperwork through this whole process just flashed before my eyes Everything was correct on the card and we are done for two years! We are so relieved and I want to thank everyone once again for all the help and advice that you gave us!!!! Good luck to everyone!!

I don't think anyone is gonna give you his/her receipt number. That's personal info. Besides, it's too risky. No one wants to get in trouble with USCIS. And if I were you I wouldn't try that...

I would also notify the district office handling your AOS.

Can you please give an example of letter? My case was sent to CSC. Is that the disctrict I should notify?

We recently moved and had requested USPS to forward our mail. But it seemed to take a long time for things to get moving. anyway we eventually got the mail and in it was my biometrics appointment. It was for 8/22/06 and i received it 3 weeks later. So although they did forward the stuff it was late. But no harm done and was able to get my biometrics done. So i guess they do forward some pieces of mail.

Let me make sure I'm getting this right.

1) Will post office forward the USCIS mail or not? I'm asking because we moved last week end and just asked the post office to forward the mail to my new adress.

2) Now if post office will not forward the mail then I should file a AR 11 right away. Now is the AR 11 filing gonna delay my case?

Besides filling an AR-11 for my wife, I filled an I-865 “Sponsor’s Notice Change of Address”. I originally file an I-864 with my AOS package not the new one, it was not around when I filled. Also call USCIS and let them know you moved. Hope this helps good luck.

My wifes AOS Case was sent from Seattle to CSC today.
