  1. Don't worry, We had our interview 4 months ago in Rio, it went fast. We were the first in line but I remember that being the first to enter the consulate is not important, they give you a paper which describes the order of all paperwork to be presented. The first to assemble all papers and turn in is the order in which they will call you. We were alittle late turning in the paperwork because of some trivial misunderstanding we had to wait an extra two hours. As far as the interview goes, it was cake. Tiny interductions and then just wait for him/her to look through the papers. First quest for was "you are divorced, do you pay child support and allimony? I said yes and no. Ok was his reply. Then looking through the rest of the paperwork and examining the content he said, "ok, thats it, congradulations" You will have no prob at all. If your papers in all good, you are as good as golden. If they are completely out of wack, they will give you time to corect them. This happened to a couple with a baby who were 20 years different in age. And they passed them no probs after they got their act togeather paperwork wise. Relax, its not that bad. The real issue starts when she is here and you have to apply for the adjustment!! Everything you didnt last week you will have to do again. But, I have my sweety here with me so it is easy, relatively speaking.
