NVC is now saying 60 days to review each packet.

Agreed with butterflies, plus it takes 1 to 2 months after case complete to receive your interview.

My case was expedited and go to the counsel last friday. I guess I will hang tight and see if I get an email soon.

Does anyone know why the Dominican Republic embassy doesn't have an updated list of appointments? Or if they do where is it hiding? I check here http://santodomingo.usembassy.gov/scheduled_appointments.html and the list is out dated.

Thanks Chrissy..... Hope you get ur approval soon and everyone else. I was talking to a friend of mine last night and telling her how I miss my bb and this process is so hard. She told me not to worry that I would get approved soon and look I was approved today. Be positive keep in ur mind it's ur turn and u will get ur approval. Cry if you have to cry but in the end it will happen and we have the rest of our lives with our loved ones after this process is over.

Unfortunately the road is still long but approval is a definite step in the right direction

You don't need a police certificate from the US, even if you lived there before for more than six months. All countries where you lived for over 6 months after age of 16 other than US require a police clearance certificate.

Hi all!! Thought I would hop on board this form. I sent my I130 on Sept 25 to Chicago Lockbox and it was received on Sept 27. It is being processed at the NBC and I got my NOA1 by text and email Oct 1... In review now. I can't wait to be with my hubby!!

I just started this process and I am waiting for my I130 to be approved I hope it is soon. According to the USCIS last update Aug 31 the last approved was Oct 1, 2012
